Ghosts and Spirits are like humans only

The line between life and death is thin. Sometimes when a person passes from life to death he carries with him the attachments associated with life.
Just as we humans are attached to our belongings so at times the attachments pass on as we leave our body. This is what I experienced the hard way.

The Trip That changed our lives

I and my brother had gone to a riverfront resort. There we had a good time playing in the water and visiting all the historic places.
One day prior to our return we were spending the time near the river front.
We walked along the muddy path and reached a secluded spot. We had a picnic there.

My brother discovered an earthen pot buried in the wet mud and dug it out.
It was a beautiful pot and my brother felt enamored by it.

As a result when we came back he brought it back with him.

The paranormal activity Starts

He placed the earthen pot in the basement and soon forgot all about it.
First there were some movements in the room. The books in the bookshelf fell down for no apparent reason. This was around 1.30 A.M when everyone was asleep.
Next week when we had a house party we heard some noises in the basement.
Upon checking we found the tap on the wine barrel open and the wine getting spilled over the floor.

I remember it was Wednesday evening and we were preparing dinner the tap in the bathroom switched on and water began to fill up the wash basin and flow out. By the time we noticed the carpeting on the adjoining living room was all drenched and soggy.

The kitchen sink unhooked from its stand and came crashing down on the floor. It landed very close to my little 5 year old niece who happened to be in the kitchen at that point in time.

These accidents were happening every where around the house and the frequency was increasing.
Cabinet doors would open all of a sudden and either food articles would get dropped and wasted or some crockery would fall down and break on its own.

It was getting scarier and we had no clue as to what was happen.

We were getting more and more concerned but had no clue why all these things were happening. My brother had not stayed in the house ever since we came back from the trip and the day he returned something even more strange happened.

As we sat on the dining table having breakfast the Cuckoo clock fell on the fruit basket and the big knife that was Kept on the table came flying at my brother and lodged inches away on the sofa.

Was it an attempt on his life or an accident?

Same day he developed fever and started vomiting. We consulted the doctor who gave him some medicines and ran a few tests but my brother was not responding to the medicines and even after 4 days there was no improvement and he became more and more weak.
The doctor ordered more tests but none of the tests showed any results.
In about a weeks time my brother had lost a lot of fluids so we took him to the hospital and there was put on a drip. Yet there was no sign of improvement.
The hospital treatment stabilized him and he came back but his fever returned too.
Call it chance or destiny our grandmother came visiting and the moment she stepped in she found the air in the house to be very stale. It is now that we realized and agreed with what she was saying. We noted that the air had been so ever since we came back from the vacation.
Our grandmother sensed that something was not right in our household.

Seeking Spiritual Help

She was in touch with a faith healer and called him to our place. He inspected our house and found a lot of negative energy. He pinpointed the basement as the source of the negative energy.
He interviewed each one of us and we recounted all that had happened in the past few days and weeks.
Step by step he constructed the events but nothing much came out of it. Then he asked us if we had made any purchases or brought some talisman or object to our home. It is then that my brother remembered bring the earthen pot.
The healer asked asked where was the pot kept and we led him to the basement.
As soon as he spotted the pot he became very concerned and upset. He called up a colleague and asked him to come over.
When his colleague came over we immediately took him to the basement The moment he saw it the two healers had a detailed discussion.
They explained to us that the seemingly ordinary looking pot that my brother had found and brought home was part of a dead persons belongings that was immersed in the river as part of his last rights.
It was not hard to figure out that the pot must have drifted to the river bank and got stuck and embed in the mud perhaps in the high tide.
It seemed that the man's soul was attached to his belongings and got stuck with the earthen pot. So when my brother brought the pot home he inadvertently brought the soul of the dead man with it.
The soul had lost its path and got stuck between two worlds. It was as if it had lost its way and in its frustration it got associated with a lot of negative energy.
The two healers sprinkled some holy water in the entire house. Wrapped the pot in a cloth and took it to the same river and immersed it after praying for the peace of the departed soul.
This caused the strange occurrences in our house to stop. Even my brother recovered miraculously in the next few days.
Slowly things turned normal once again and my brother took a wow not to bring such things in the house as we never know to whom it belongs and what may come along with it.
