I'm nearly positive man has set foot on the moon. There are a couple of orbital recon satellites circling the moon that have taken images showing landing sites and tracks where the moon rovers drove. It' not really a stretch when you research the entire history of space exploration and technologies.
If I had to handicap it for Vegas I would say we more likely than not went to the moon, but I think it's a close call. There's also the possibility that we went to the moon, but the Apollo 11 footage is fake. The school of thought on that point of view is that we would not risk televising the real moon landing live bc there is such a high possibility the astronaughts die on live television.
