"Kew. Rhone." (released in 1977) is the name of a collaborative album produced by English bassist and songwriter John Greaves, American singer-songwriter and guitarist Peter Blegvad and English singer and pianist Lisa Herman. Both Greaves and Blegvad are widely known for having participated in emblematic bands of the European avant-garde scene, of which we can mention Henry Cow and Slapp Happy ... The common thread of "Kew. Rhone." it is the production of songs structured in word games, such as anagrams, palindromes, among other linguistic resources; all within a musical style that combines free-jazz, classical jazz, avant-garde music and the RIO ... "Kew. Rhone." it will be a real delicacy for lovers of jazz and the canterbury scene; this album being a true lost jewel of this genre and a forgotten masterpiece of progressive rock .. =)
