RE: Jaxx Wallet Vulnerability? You Tell Me

in #jaxx8 years ago

Wow that's nuts. Sorry to hear about this. I've personally never used Jaxx, so I cannot say too much about their wallet.

I do always suggest to everyone, buy a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S, or Trezor.. It's still the early days, so not all software wallets are 100% safe.

The hardware wallets can be the difference between being hacked or not.

Yeah, believe it or not I do have about 1/3 or more of my funds in a Ledger Nano HW Wallet, but I really loved the functionality of Jaxx which was SUPPOSED to be secure and I followed all of their protocols. They integrated it with Shapeshift and it was super easy and the User Interface was beautiful . but so much for all of that as I lost a huge amount of tokens.. Thus far sadly they have not been much help. I am praying they fess up to it as others are saying that ETH address has clearly targetted some vulnerability in JAxx that they are not publically disclosing.
