JASMINE FLOWER

Jasmine is classified as a herbaceous plant that belongs to various ornamental plants of flowers. The vines consisting of about 200 of these species thrive in warm and tropical climates such as Eurasia, Australasia, Oceania and Indonesia. Jasmine is famous for its distinctive scent.

The cultivation of jasmine flowers in Indonesia has been done for a long time. In fact, there is one type of jasmine that is used as a national symbol or "puspa bangsa" ie jasmine white (Jasminum sambac) which symbolizes purity, generosity, and has strong links with various traditions in many tribes in Indonesia
