寒風吹きすさぶ中、年賀はがきを売る郵便局員。

A gardener who trims trees. This tree is a refreshing new year.
木の剪定をする植木屋さん。これでこの木もさっぱりして新年を迎えられる。

A small shrine that is always inconspicuous is preparing for a shrine.
いつもは目立たない小さな神社も、初詣の準備をしている。

I have been curious. The announcement of the New Year's holiday is very simple. I used to notice a poster like a special edition of New Year's cards. But since most of the shops were open today, I may not have posted them yet, but there was no announcement for the gorgeous New Year's Day.
気になったことがある。年末年始の営業のお知らせが実に簡素だ。以前は年賀状の豪華版のようなポスターで告知していたのに。でも今日はほとんどの店が営業していたから、まだ貼っていないかもしれないが、豪華な年末年始のお知らせは皆無だった。

Another thing I was curious about was that so-called decoration was hardly seen. In my range of action today, there were only a couple of houses that were slightly leased. The old-fashioned decoration was none the more. I wonder if I will decorate it tomorrow or tomorrow.
By the way, the house next to me is still putting out the signboard of "Merry Christmas".
もう一つ気になったことは、いわゆるしめ飾りもほとんど見かけなかったことだ。今日の私の行動範囲では、わずかにリースを飾っている家が２軒ほどあっただけ。昔ながらのしめ飾りはこれまた皆無だった。明日か明後日に飾るのだろうか。
ちなみに私の隣の家は今も「メリークリスマス」の看板を出している。

I felt a very hectic air and I was sorry to be taking pictures so carefree, so I went home.
私は多忙極まりない空気を感じ、のんきに写真を撮っているのが申し訳なくなったので、帰宅した。
