雨の季節には、アリは自分の仲間を見つけて自分の巣を形成するために出かけるため、彼らには翼があります。 彼らは飛んで、近くの巣の雄と雌と会う空中に群れを作るのを始めます。

女王が新しい家を作る場所を選んだとき、彼女は翼を失い、自分を巣作りと卵を飼ってアリ植民地を作り出すことに専念します。 この写真では、すでに翼のないものが1つ見られます。

複数のクイーンを持つアリのコロニー、クイーンアリを持たないコロニー、戦士のアリのようないくつかの種では、クイーンアリには羽がありません。

The rainy season begins and the flying ants .....

In the rainy season, ants go out to find their partners to form their own nest, that's why they have wings. They begin to fly and make swarms in the air where they meet with the males and females of the nearby nests.

When the Queen chooses where to create her new home, she loses her wings and devotes herself to building a nest and laying eggs to create the ant colony. In this photograph we see one of them already without wings.

There are colonies of ants with more than one queen, colonies without queen ants and in some species, such as warrior ants, queen ants do not have wings.

Here we can see it surrounded by other ants.
