熱帯の牛： "Carora"の品種.....

Cattle of the tropical zone: The "Carora" breed .....

On the side of the road I saw a cattle farm with animals of the Carora breed, which has a capacity to adapt to the tropic and has good yields for milk production.

The Carora cattle are obtained from the cross between the Andalusian Creole adapted to the tropics and the Swiss Brown from the United States and Switzerland. All its characteristics are adapted to the tropics to dissipate heat.

It is a rustic animal with short yellow, light brown or white hair, with low hair density per unit of skin, black head, black tassel, solidly pigmented mucous and waxed face as seen in this photograph.

For our knowledge:
The Carora breed is the only tropical milk breed in the world.
A cow can produce up to 35 liters of milk per day.
