Photographs of plants, flowers and insects of America .....

All the plants that exist on the planet need a source of illumination to carry out photosynthesis, in this case the Sun, but they also require the adequate water supply and keep a close relationship with the pollinating animals.

Fotografías de plantas, flores e insectos de América.....

Todas las plantas que existen en el planeta necesitan una fuente de iluminación para realizar la fotosíntesis, en este caso el Sol, pero además requieren el suministro de agua adecuado y guardar una estrecha relación con los animales polinizadores.

En publicaciones anteriores les he mostrado la gran variedad de plantas que habitan en América, sobre todo en América del Sur, pues bien si estas plantas tienen flores van a necesitar urgentemente la acción de los animales que polinicen estas flores y los más activos son los insectos voladores, aunque también ayudan en esta tarea los insectos de tierra, como las hormigas.

En esta composición fotográfica les muestro a una avispa cortadora de hojas de color negro en plena faena de trabajo y un escarabajo de colores muy parecido a la mariquita.

Adicionalmente, les presento algunas flores que me llamaron la atención por sus colores y extraña forma que le imprime un valor agregado a su belleza. La última imagen corresponde a la flor de una leguminosa muy común en esta región del planeta.

Realmente las plantas y los animales mantienen una estrecha relación y se necesitan mutuamente para garantizar su existencia y sobrevivencia ante los grandes cambios climáticos que afectan el suministro de alimentos para estas especies.
