QRコード決済統一規格「JPQR」がスタート
乱立していたQRコード決済の統一規格「JPQR」が8月1日よりスタートしました。
メルペイ、楽天ペイ、LINE Pay、Origami Payなどが8月1日より対応しており、PayPayも参加を表明しておりますので国内のQRコード決済の規格はほぼ統一されたといえるんではないでしょうか。
QRコード決済サービスが増えれば増えるほど店舗側の対応が難しくなってくるので、これは良い流れですね。QRコード決済のサービスの違いで使える、使えないという問題も解消されていくのでユーザーとしても助かりますね。
まずは岩手、長野、和歌山、福岡で実証実験を行い、その後全国展開されるそうですが普及が待たれます。
私としてはQRコード決済もいいのですが、suicaを愛用しています。suicaが普及すればいいのにと思っていますが導入コストの部分でQRコード決済に分があります。しかし、QRコード決済もPayPayの不正利用問題、今回のセブンイレブンの問題などセキュリティの問題も発生しましたので、そういった部分は改善の余地がありますね。
