本日紹介するのはベルギーのビールである「ベルビュー・クリーク」です。

ベルビュー・クリークはチェリーのフルーツビールでスタイルはランビックという種類に分類されます。
一般的なラガーやエールタイプのビールに飽きてきた方にはとても新鮮に感じられるお味だと思います。

・ランビックって何？

野生酵母から生まれる、ランビック

その土地の野生の酵母で自然発酵させてつくるベルギー独自のビールが、ランビックビールです。自然が相手だけに製法はデリケート。醸造できる場所はブリュッセル近郊に限られ、最低でも１年～２年かけて熟成させます。

ベルギー独自のスタイルであるランビック。その特徴は何といっても非常に強い酸味です。種類によっては梅干しよりも酸っぱく感じるようなモノもあります。なぜベルギー独自かというとブリュッセル均衡にしかない自然酵母を使い発酵させているからなのです。かなり癖の強いものが多いのですが、本日紹介するベルビュー・クリークは地元のさくらんぼを加えて二次発酵させているため、ランビック特有の強烈の酸味が抑えられ、チェリーの味と絶妙にマッチしています。
個人的に世間のチェリー味は人工的に思えて苦手なのですが、ベルギービールにおけるチェリー味はしっかりと本物のさくらんぼ感を味わえるので苦手には感じません。通常のビールにちょっぴり飽きてしまった方、普通のビールが飲めない方、カクテルが好きな方などいろんな人が楽しめる素敵ないっぱいだと思います。

Bellevue · kriek is cherry fruit beer and style is classified as lambic.

· What is Lambic?

Born from wild yeast, Lambic

The Belgian original beer made by natural fermentation with the wild yeast of the land is Lambic beer. Natural is only delicate to the partner and the manufacturing method is delicate. The place that can be brewed is limited to near Brussels and it will be aged over at least 1 year to 2 years.

lanbic is Belgium's unique style. Its characteristic is very strong acidity no matter what. Depending on the type, there are things that make you feel sour than Umeboshi. Why Belgium is unique because it is fermented using natural yeast which is only in Brussels equilibrium. There are many quite habitable ones, but since Bellevue · Creek introduced today adds a local cherry and makes it secondary fermentation, the strong acidity peculiar to lambic is suppressed, exquisitely matches the taste of cherry It is.

Personally, the cherry taste of the world is not good at thinking artificially, but the cherry taste at Belgian beer does not feel weak because it can taste real cherry feeling firmly.
