Open House at Hotel Four Seasons Kyoto
Hello everyone,
Recently I was invited by Hotel Four Seasons Kyoto to participate in their Open House event. Many concerned businesses came here in two sessions at 2 PM and 6 PM. My coworkers and I went to the afternoon session. It was my first time here. When I arrived at the hotel, I wondered why a five star hotel why is so tiny.
I got a warm welcome from one of the staff members. She came from China and just moved from Tokyo two weeks ago. She was our tour guide for our inspection. She is new at this branch but has plenty of experience. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well.
I was allowed to take photos inside the hotel so I have some pictures to share with you. Maybe some of you want to stay here.
Meeting Rooms
A meeting room for events such wedding parties, anniversary parties, etc.
A meeting room with a big monitor and screen.
The Lounge and Bar
Outdoor Dining
Guests can enjoy food on the terrace which is in front of a magnificent old historical garden and pond. I heard my co-worker say the carp are very expensive. One carp can go for 1,000,000 yen. Can you believe it?
Look at this small modern house. Here you can learn Japanese culture such as the Japanese tea ceremony, ninja experience, etc. with a private instructor.
At the main building of the hotel are all of the convenience facilities such as the spa room, fitness room, swimming pool and others.
Some examples of accommodations.
One bedroom residence with a view.
It feels like you're at home. It includes a small kitchen, working desk in a separate space, two large beds in the bedroom, and a balcony with an impressive view.
The bedroom corner residence.
There are 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a dining room, and a living room. This is quite big, I think it is bigger than the space in my house. Lol
We spent about 45 to 60 minutes on this tour. Finally, we got a tea break with appetizers.
If this hotel gave me a chance to stay I wouldn't hesitate. The huge bed I saw must be comfortable.

Sure looks like a very nice place. Must be very expensive if need to pay to stay there. :-)
That's true.
