Honestly I think that artists are one of the niche markets that can benefit the most from Steem if we get SMTs running. Steemit as a whole may not like to reward them properly and instead a massive amount of the voting power goes in a big circle between the top stake holders all talking about Steem...we don't need more steem content...seriously enough rewarding it already. But with communities like ReggaeSteem and others there can be a home for niche content that can thrive, places where the whales will be other like minded people.

I think with the SMT the benefit will be global, I hope.
Reggaesteem is moving forward, little by little, I think it's a tribe that already has a road map for when the SMT gets going, and it will be very beneficial and in turn the artists too, in the future we'll see what the crypto world has in store for steemit, steem, sbd... and us with it.
