American Reggae Band Series Cont. - THE EXPENDABLES

An irie group to say the least. The Expendables dabble in several music genre areas, but they may properly be classified as a reggae rock band. They are based out of Santa Cruz, CA and have been creating JAHMin tunes since the late 90s (1997).

Their most prominent music features are resembled through reggae rock, ska, punk rock as well as surf rock. Growing up, the band lived a rather laid-back type of lifestyle, which ultimately stemmed into their musical profile.

Since 1997, The Expendables have claimed their fame in the Californian surf/rock genre by headlining several events from the east to west coasts. Their unique blend of Reggae and Punk Rock has popularized the group since their late 90s debut.

The band consists of four lifelong friends: Geoff Weers (Guitar and Vocals), Adam Patterson (Drums and Vocals), Raul Bianchi (Lead Guitar) and Ryan DeMars (Bass).

The first seven years of their music career was fueled by three full-length, completely independent releases.

  • No Time To Worry (2000);
  • Open Container (2001);and;
  • Gettin’ Filthy (2004)

These (3) albums alone brought in over 40,000 units sold with no physical distribution or group record label combined. The Expendables continue to lay down the irie tracks, continually spanning their popularity as more and more begin to learn what they bring to the reggaesphere .

Good music, relaxing enough to take it easy brother, very good choice of song.
I like this part where it says:

So please don't run away
When my ganja's all gone
Promise me that you're gonna stay
When my flight is all done
