My Favorite Japanese Sound
I remember when Mighty Crown first jumped on the scene. They took the sound world by storm. Although well received they did have some naysayers being that they were Japanese. The reggae and dancehall culture is very big in Japan. The reach and inspiration of reggae around the world is amazing.
Mighty Crown was full of style and creativity, which lead them to winning numerous World Clash. World Clash is when sounds from different countries around the world compete with each other in a soundclash for a trophy. United States, Canada, England, Germany, Africa etc.
My next couple of past will be dedicated to non Jamaican sounds.

Japan does a lot of things right, such a remarkable culture. Reggae doesn't have to be from Jamaica to be good.
Yup, Mighty crown is still doing very well inna japan and overseas- they got the business of reggae/ dancehall business down to the T.
