Why can't you just say a personal comment to people, instead of just 'hi/hello'? This is not a chat room.

Is it that hard to craft up one sentence to someone? If the person is not even worth your time to make one personal sentence to them, they shouldn't waste their time with you - or even, why are you wasting your time on them if they aren't worth a sentence?
