It’s My NFT (itsmyne.com) is the first platform that allows sports fans to collect and trade their favorite athlete’s or team’s NFTs. The NFT is the fastest growing category in the crypto economy with some of the biggest names in the space like Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) and ERC-721. Currently, NFTs are primarily trading on centralized exchanges. However, centralized exchanges are not fit for the needs of the NFT community. The centralized nature of these exchanges poses some unique challenges to the NFT community. The most notable of these challenges is the fact that NFTs are owned by one entity, the exchange. So, if the exchange decides not to allow trading of that NFT, the owners of that NFT no longer have access to it. On top of that, the centralized exchanges are frequently hacked and manipulated. It is the belief of the It’s My NFT team that these challenges will inhibit the adoption of NFTs and that a decentralized solution is needed for this community.
