Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; David is known as the man who had God's heart and his reputation was, he never repeated the same sin twice.

A lot happens at night, especially the witching hour between three and four AM. If we knew the creatures that hunted at night, we would not stand a chance against their teeth and paws. No wonder God tries us when we should be sleeping. It's when we're not sleeping, the truth comes out.

We could have the worst dreams and nightmares and still not come close to our crimes of passion, when we're awake (when we should have been sleeping)

David had ten wives. Maybe he had help in some areas. But I don't know if more spouses make things better or worse.
