Psalm 19:7-11

The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8
The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.

10
They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11
By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

The Law Of The Lord Is Perfect

These verses speaks of the character, benefits and value of God's law as revealed in His word.
The five parts of God's word mentioned in this psalm are:
(1) "The law", which is a general term for God's revealed plans and purposes. The law is expressed through is commands and guidelines and gives direction in how to relate to Him in the right way.

(2) "The statutes", which are God's truths and decrees that express His character and purposes (1John 5:19). Studying God's statutes will make us wise.

(3) "The precept", which are definite rules concerning righteous living that gives joy to God's followers.

(4) "The commands", which are the authoritative source of guidance for those who want to clearly see and follow God's ways (Act 26:18). The proper response to God's commands is the "fear of the Lord", meaning an awe and reverence which cause one to obey God and avoid evil, bringing spiritual peace and freedom.

(5) "The ordinances", which are laws gorverning social life and relationships witth others that leads to justice and righteousness.

These are the five parts of God's words which we should always follow as a christian that will make us benefit more from God the owner of the characters.
