SHOUT TO THE LORD

Are you having a bad day? I mean, a really bad day? Are you ready for the rain to stop pouring down on your parade? Look up! Your help comes from the Redeemer, the Light of the World! If you can’t think of anything else to do, or the exact words to pray, just begin to PRAISE: Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.

Why do you worry about what other people think of you? The Bible says that you can either please the Father, or you can please man. Don’t concern yourself with the foolish opinions of other people and the garbage they put on you. You are a child of God! Live to please Him above all else.

Break the shame barrier from your past tragedy. If you feel like there is a flaw you can't scrub out, know that Jesus Christ went to the Cross and took on your sin and shame so that you might be made clean. You do not have to carry the guilt of your past any longer. The past is OVER! Live, love, laugh, and be HAPPY!

Failure is NOT fatal. If it were, I would have died a long time ago! If you feel you've been knocked down, run over, chewed up and spit out, and your life is meaningless, GET UP in Jesus' Name! Return to the rock garden of your failure and watch Almighty God turn it to a rose garden.

The Bible says to ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened. Are you knocking? Are you seeking? Or are you sitting on your couch waiting for a miracle to drop in your lap? God is ready to lead you down a path of total victory, but the choice is yours. Will you take the initiative and seek His face? Or will you settle for second best?

Shout to the Lord! He’s been working on your behalf since the day you showed up on Earth. He does not slumber and He does not sleep. He’s not a God of sometimes and maybe. He is a God of might and majesty. He is all-powerful. He is all-sufficient. He is an ever-present help in a time of trouble. He said, “call upon me and I’ll answer thee and I’ll show you great and mighty things that you know not.” Child of God, when you lift your hands and you shout unto God, He’s the King of kings and He is the Lord of lords. He moves heaven and Earth on your behalf!

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
