It was the second day after we arrived at the Lago Maggiore and we thougt about driving around the Lago. But the whole Lago is much to far. So after some time we found a sign for an old monestery. It was the Eremo de Santa Caterina. A beautiful place direct on the walls of the lake. To visit it inside you have to follow some restrictive rules. But it is also very nice inside. All in one I can give the advice to visit it if you are not a fraid of some stairs or you want to pay for a lift.
