Follow Me on My Way to Italy - Auf dem Weg nach Italien, kommt mit!

Hey gus! My family has been infected by my travel fever and asked me if I would not like to make a beach holiday with them. My answer was just: "No, but we can do an Italian road trip :)". Well, the reaction was not the one I wanted. Road trip is for my parents like a foreign word^^ I prepared briefly an approximate travel route and presented it in front of them. My ultimatum was, "Road trip yes, beach vacation no" :) Every person can lie around at the beach, I need action: P My parents agreed and later on we drove to the southern part of Europe.

The journey started from Germany and will be finished in Tuscany. We are driving with Daddy's car and neat luggage in the trunk!

My Plan: From Munich to Bolzano, Verona, Pisa, Firenze, Populonia, Piombino and Island Elba. And by the way I forgot to mention Livorno :) Maybe the plan looks a bit like a big mess, but it is not :P

During the drive to Italy I made some pictures of the area around me :)

We had to drive on the "Europe bridge (Brenner highway). The bridge is 190 meters high and was known as the highest bridge in Europe for 10 years until its completion in 1963. In Austria, the "Europe bridge - Europabrücke" is actually the highest bridge in the country.

If you want to drive on Italians highways you have to pay for it

The area around us is very green

In general the southern part of Tirol in Italy is very beautiful <3

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Meine Familie hat sich von meinem Reisefieber anstecken lassen und fragte mich, ob ich nicht bei einem gemeinsamen Strandurlaub mit dabei sein möchte. Meine Antwort war prompt: „Nein, aber wir können gerne einen Italien Roadtrip machen :)“. Nun ja, die Reaktion war erstmal nicht die, die ich haben wollte. Roadtrip ist für meine Eltern erstmal ein Fremdwort ^^ Ich bereitete kurz und schmerzlos einen ungefähren Reiseverlauf vor und stellte sie vor vollendete Tatsachen. Mein Ultimatum war, „Roadtrip ja, Strandurlaub nein“ :) Am Strand herumliegen kann jeder, ich brauche Action :P Meine Eltern willigten ein und kurzerhand später ging es gen Süden.

Die Reise begann von Deutschland aus und endete in der Toskana, alles mit Papas Auto und ordentlich Gepäck im Kofferraum!

Die Fahrt auf der Europabrücke (Brenner Autobahn). Die Brücke ist ganze 190 m hoch und war bis zur Fertigstellung im Jahr 1963 für 10 Jahre als höchste Brücke Europas bekannt. In Österreich ist die Europabrücke bis heute tatsächlich die höchste im Land geblieben.

General ist Südtirol in Italien ein sehr schönes Fleckchen Erde <3
