⭐️ i-TALENT | ROUND 6 // This are my cards❤️

in #italent6 years ago (edited)

Hello, beautiful steemians!❤️

Well, this time I'll bring to all of u my first entry for this amazing contest (the i-Talent), which I thank, and thanks to the sponsors, @ivan.atman, and all of them! Although I'm entering a little bit late on it. I greatly appreciate the opportunity, because I think it's super considerate, and an inclusive one, because with any talent you can participate, if we're talking about art, of course, no?

Art is so immense, that I can't really define it, but I can try! ... Art for me is everything, and although it sounds exaggerated, so it is for me; art is beauty, love, feelings, nature, all the beautiful things of the world, so I see it. And although, in each person's eyes, what we consider "art" varies, subjectivity is always intruded, the talent of the people, the gifts that are given to us at birth, also classify as art for me! I see the people who sing, and captivate with their voices as a true test of art, and how subjective and beautiful it is, the people who draw; those that only with a brush in hand, let your spirit fly and create indescribable canvases, full of pure beauty, that, that is ART, the feeling that you leave in whatever you do passionately, whatever you are passionate about, and that represent beauty for you, and for the world, because art changes, and has left indelible patterns throughout history, to change and evolve, always innovative, and always beautiful.✨

Art implies talent, that shouldn't be overlooked, because not all people are talented, although I personally think so, but some, unlike others, don't know how to use or develop well in what they are good at... Finally, as this contest is about talent, any kind of talent, I will leave you here something that I LOVE TO DO, and that many people have told me is talent!❤️

Craft is an art that requires a lot of patience, concentration, love for what you do, but especially, C R E A T I V I T Y! And it's something that I appreciate having, and that I hope that as time goes on, it keeps growing on me. I love making cards by hand, because I enter a space that is completely mine✨, a place where I can be myself, and I feel at peace! I let the materials flow with me, and the colors paint my days, and my life , I feel happy when I'm doing them, and that's why I enjoy my work, I'm really passionate about it, and I wanted to share with u some of the ones I've done throughout all this time!

Materials I used to make them all are almost the same, so I'll leave you a general list.

  • Sheets.
  • Pencil.
  • Colors.
  • Markers.
  • Black pencil.
  • Eraser.
  • Scissors.
  • Cardboard and strong cards.
  • Cold sylicon.
  • Brush.
  • Cold paints.

Football card:

  • The first thing I did was to take the rectangular shape of the card.

  • Then, I cut out the circle on the cover where the soccer ball would be hanging by a thread, and then, I lined the card with white sheets of paper. At the same time I expected the silicone to dry, and stick the sheets well to the cardboard; I was taking the shape of the ball on another piece of cardboard, and wrapping it with sheets of paper, and then drawing it.

  • Once the ball was ready, I put it on the cover, and went on to decorate the inside of the card.

-I used cold paints, and a brush to make the filling technique at the bottom of the card, and I put small dots with my fingers of red color.

  • When I had almost all the card ready, I concentrated on writing the dedication for my friend who was on birthday! I also used a gold colored card to write the "happy birthday" to him, and I put the letter on a sheet of paper, using a black marker, I used a typography letter for this.

  • I made the sentimental dedication after the "happy birthday", and went to the cover to put his name at the beginning of the card, or at least, the nickname with which I call him, I love him very much.

  • And finally, I decorated parts inside and outside the card with golden stars, I made sure to keep an eye on it and see that everything was well attached and nothing out of place, and that's it! It was that easy and fast! And pretty (':

The same day I did that card, one of my friends was on "aniversary" with his girlfriend, and asked me to do to her that little card, because she is so in love with Asian things, and well, you know.

Asian little card:

  • For this, as it was very small and simple, it didn't take me long.

  • I cut out a square of brown cardboard, and in the center, I drew a mandala in the shape of the sun, because China is the land of the rising sun, and those things, I thought the girl would like it.

  • The word "Misu", according to him, and she, refers to "pretty girl", or something like that he half explained to me, and it's like he nicknames her. So he asked me to write that in the center, and that's what I did.

  • But as it looked very simple, and dead, and pale, so I decided to give it a touch of life and make it look more beautiful.

  • With a toothpick and white cold paint, I made little white spots around the mandala, and they gave him a cute and alive touch to the card.

  • Ah! On the back of the card I put a piece of paper for him to write his dedication, and voila, it was that easy and fast to do it!

Well, I really hope you like my post, and my cards, and I really thank u for all, for reading, and support me! I wish all of u so much good luck, and to see u around!

Good vibes to all of u✨, hope u guys are very well❤️

Blesses!
