I giovani sono contenti: l'incontro con la musica, anche se ci tipo diverso da quello proposto dagli studenti, è sempre privilegiato, perché sanno di poter gustare un'arte magica che affina la sensibilità e consente di stare insieme, in assoluto silenzio, per fruire in maniera coscientizzata di un vero valore dato dall'armonia che rasserena gli animi, smorza gli affanni allontanando le angosciose ansietà che assillano l'uomo moderno. Vengono scelte per l'ascolto "sogno di una notte di mezza estate" di MENDELSSHON; al chiaro di luna di BEETHOVEN; altre arie di BACH. Il giorno prima del debutto, nel pomeriggio, gruppi di studenti a turno collaborano attivamente a predisporre il palco atto a contenere musicisti e strumenti. Un pianoforte, un violino, un flauto e un'arpa, vecchio dono alla scuola da una nobildonna del luogo sono spostati nell'aula magna.
