Oggi voglio parlare brevemente di un periodo sociale mettendo a confronto due band che hanno segnato l’inizio di una nuova era musicale e che hanno contribuito a cambiare anche l’immagine sociale , sto parlando di due pietre miliari del Rock , i Beatles ed i Rolling Stones sicuramente i capostipiti di una musica moderna che per molti gruppi futuri sarà un esempio da seguire , queste nuova strada musicale quindi inizia proprio con questi due mostri sacri.

Da amante della musica premetto che se devo dare una mia preferenza su quale dei due gruppi io sia più orientato allora non posso che confessarvi che preferisco di gran lunga le “Pietre Rotolanti” , forse per il mio apprezzamento al loro suono può trasgressivo , più grezzo , secondo motivo anche in virtù delle influenze Blues presenti nella loro musica , anche se devo dare merito ai Beatles di aver aperto alla generazione degli anni 60 un nuovo mondo musicale basato su una genere più leggero e dai testi che parlano prevalentemente d’amore attirando l’attenzione di quel fronte giovanile che si preparava al cambiamento alle rivoluzioni sociali e politiche , raggiungendo l’apice nel periodo del famoso 68 , dove libertà , pace , amore e musica nuova erano i temi principali.

Quindi da un parte le facce pulite dei 4 baronetti di Liverpool e dall’altra la trasgressione la voglia di libertà e cambiamento dei Rolling Stones , eppure entrambi hanno fatto la storia , forse è stato proprio essere l’esatto opposto dell’altro che li ha resi i più famosi , ma entrambi rimangono i fautori del cambiamento , di quella voglia di cambiare le cose , in modo magari diverso ma pur sempre rivoluzionati per quei tempi.

Una dimostrazione di una società che stava cambiando e dove emergevano due grandi fazioni , una che era appunto il nuovo fronte giovanile , quel movimento prettamente studentesco che voleva cambiare il mondo ed essere libero di fare a modo suo , anche io mi sono sentito sessantottino ed ero un amante dei Rolling ma esisteva anche l’altro schieramento appartenente a quella società pulita , forse leggermente più orientata al sentirsi Vip amante dello Snob , probabilmente rappresentavano l’inizio di quello che poi col tempo diventerà una società più improntata al consumismo , al mondo dei mass media , la prefazione alla futura generazione appartenente al mondo dei Social del Brand, del mero consumismo.

E voi da che parte vi sentite rappresentati ? , siete più Rolling oppure vi sentite più Beatles ?

Today I want to compare two bands that marked the beginning of a new musical era, I'm talking about two Rock milestones, Beatles and Rolling Stones definitely the the founders of a modern music that for many future groups will be an example to follow, these new musical path then begins with these two sacred monsters.
As a music lover I state that if I have to give preference to which of the two groups I am more oriented then I can only confess that I much prefer the "Rolling Stones", perhaps for my appreciation to their sound can transgressive, more raw , second reason also by virtue of the Blues influences present in their music, even if I have to give credit to the Beatles to have opened to the 60s generation a new musical world based on a lighter genre and from the texts who speak mainly of love attracting the attention of that youth front that was preparing for change to social and political revolutions, reaching its peak in the period of the famous 68, where freedom, peace, love and new music were the main themes.

A demonstration of a society that was changing and where two great factions emerged, one that was precisely the new youth front, that purely student movement that wanted to change the world and be free to do in its own way, even I felt ”68” and I was a lover of Rolling but there was also the other line belonging to that clean society, perhaps slightly more oriented to the feeling VIP lover of Snob, probably represented the beginning of what will eventually become a society more focused on consumerism, the world of mass media, the preface to the next generation belonging to the world of Social of Brand, of mere consumerism.
