Gabbiano in volo - Seagull in flight (ITA-ENG)

Questa foto l'ho scattata da un traghetto in Turchia, viaggiando tra Buyukada, una delle nove Isole dei Principi e Kadikoy - Istanbul. Ci sono tantissimi gabbiani ad Istanbul e sono molto affamati. Molto spesso viaggiano trasportati sul tetto dei traghetti che collegano Asia ad Europa, altre volte invece, volano di pari passo al traghetto, come questo nella foto sopra, in attesa che qualcuno gli lanci un pezzo di simit (ciambella di pane ricoperta di semi di sesamo, in vendita in tutte le bancarelle sulla strada e al porto). Questo bellissimo gabbiano era proprio sopra la mia testa di fianco al traghetto e prendeva straordinariamente al volo i pezzi di simit che due bambini accanto a me gli lanciavano. E' stato bellissimo vedere come planava così da vicino e come era attento e veloce a non mancare nemmeno un colpo! Mi sono accorta poi solo riguardando la foto che nella parte bassa si vede anche la luna!

I took this photo from a ferry in Turkey, traveling between Buyukada, one of the nine Prince Islands and Kadikoy - Istanbul. There are so many seagulls in Istanbul and they are very hungry. Very often they travel transported on the roof of the ferries that connect Asia to Europe, other times instead, they fly beside to the ferry, like this in the picture above, waiting for someone to throw a piece of simit (bread roll covered with sesame seeds , on sale in all stalls on the street and at the port). This beautiful seagull was right above my head next to the ferry and took exceptionally flying pieces of simit that two children next to me threw at him. It was great to see how it glided so close and how careful and fast it was not to miss a single shot! Then I realized just looking at the first photo that in the lower part you can see the moon!
