ecco a voi l'analisi degli ottavi di finale che si sono disputati ieri, ovvero Brasile-Messico alle 16 e Belgio-Giappone alle 20.
Nessuna sorpresa questa volta, sono passate le due favorite anche se entrambe sono state partite molto combattute con il risultato in bilico fino alla fine. Ma non voglio anticiparvi niente, se siete curiosi proseguite con la lettura.

Alla Samara Arena finisce 2-0 per il Brasile il match contro il Messico, permettendo ai brasiliani di passare il turno.
Il primo tempo è stato piuttosto noioso con poche emozioni e un ritmo di gioco blando. L'inizio di partita ha dato l'impressione che il Brasile non fosse in giornata, infatti i messicani hanno creato scompiglio nell'area dei verdeoro e per poco non sono andati a segno con le loro punte Vela, Hernandez e Lozano. Poi ad un tratto la Selecao si è svegliata ed ha cominciato a costruire la manovra come meglio sa fare. Neymar dà spettacolo con le sue giocate, il Messico si chiude nella propria metà campo ed è solo grazie ad Ochoa se il risultato a fine primo tempo è ancora fisso sullo 0-0.
Nella ripresa si sblocca subito il match: al 51' Willian si invola sulla destra e mette in mezzo un cross che Neymar finalizza in rete con una scivolata. A nulla servono i tentativi di Osorio di cambiare le sorti del match buttando nella mischia Layun e Dos Santos. Il Brasile è inarrestabile e continua a spingere ed attaccare. Le speranze dei messicani si spengono definitivamente quando a 2 minuti dal termine l'appena entrato Firmino ribadisce in rete un pallone respinto da Ochoa dopo l'ennesima magia di Neymar.
Non si ferma più il Brasile al terzo 2-0 di fila. I ragazzi di Tite convincono ogni partita sempre di più, ieri contro il Messico hanno giocato una partita quasi perfetta (tranne i primi 25 minuti) con poche sbavature ed un ottima trama di gioco. Adesso c'è da superare l'ostacolo Belgio, una squadra giovane e veloce, proprio come loro: a Kazan venerdì lo spettacolo è garantito.
Si ferma agli ottavi la corsa del Tricolor di Osorio. Contro questo Brasile era quasi impossibile farcela; resta tuttavia il rammarico per non aver sfruttato al meglio i primi 25 minuti di amnesia della Selecao, con un pizzico di precisione e freddezza in più sarebbe potuto arrivare un gol che avrebbe sicuramente indirizzato il match diversamente.
Complimenti comunque a questi ragazzi il cui passaggio del turno nel girone della Germania è stata già una mezza vittoria.

Partita vietata ai deboli di cuore: a Rostov il Belgio batte con tanta sofferenza 3-2 il Giappone e vola ai quarti di finale.
Il primo tiro della partita è ad opera di Kagawa e non è un caso che siano i giapponesi a rendersi pericolosi. La squadra asiatica è posizionata perfettamente in campo e la difesa impenetrabile. I belgi invece sembrano un'altra squadra: spenti, privi di idee e confusi; soffrono le ripartenze sulle fasce dei giapponesi, che danno l'impressione di riuscire a controllare il gioco. Si va negli spogliatoi sullo 0-0, tra lo stupore della gente sugli spalti per un Belgio irriconoscibile.
Nella ripresa la musica non cambia, anzi succede l'impensabile: il Giappone passa in vantaggio dopo 3 minuti con un diagonale di Haraguchi, indisturbato tra la difesa avversaria immobile. I nipponici capiscono che è il momento giusto e dopo altri 4 minuti affondano il colpo con Inui, autore di una pregevole conclusione da fuori area. Ecco allora che mister Martinez si illumina ed effettua due cambi che cambieranno le sorti del match: dentro Fellaini e Chadli per Mertens e un inguardabile Carrasco. Al 69' con un pò di fortuna il Belgio accorcia le distanze: Vertonghen colpisce un pallone di testa nel tentativo di rimetterlo in area ma ne viene fuori un pallonetto che trafigge Kawashima. A questo punto i giapponesi entrano nel panico totale e si inverte l'inerzia della partita. I belgi subito dopo trovano il pareggio con il subentrato Fellaini su invito di Hazard. 2-2 ad un quarto d'ora dalla fine. Il Giappone è stanco, ha corso tanto in questa partita e non ha più le forse per attaccare. Quando sembra ormai chiaro che si debba andare ai supplementari, all'ultima occasione utile al 94' Chadli va a segno e fa esplodere di gioia i tifosi accorsi allo stadio: finisce 3-2.
Inferno e paradiso in 90 minuti per i ragazzi di Martinez. La presunzione e la bassa concentrazione avevano potuto costare caro ieri sera, per fortuna il mister ha azzeccato i cambi nel finale e la caratura tecnica ha avuto il sopravvento sulla tenacia dei giapponesi. Ma quanta paura dopo un primo tempo orribile e da dimenticare. Che sia di lezione per il futuro e soprattutto per il prossimo esame contro il Brasile: la squadra di Neymar non farà certo sconti ed anche un minuscolo errore potrà essere fatale.
Peccato davvero per i ragazzi di Nishino, che avrebbero veramente meritato il passaggio del turno dopo una partita del genere. I giapponesi comunque si sono dati la zappa sui piedi, perché sul 2-0 a mezz'ora dal termine devi gestire il risultato e mantenere la calma, loro invece hanno perso il controllo. Una sconfitta che brucia tanto insomma, ma probabilmente è frutto del karma: vi ricordate in che modo i nipponici hanno passato il girone grazie alla discutibile regola del fair play?
Sarà dunque Brasile - Belgio il terzo e penultimo quarto di finale dei mondiali in Russia del 2018, in programma venerdì 6 luglio alle ore 20 alla Kazan Arena.
Quella che ci aspetta sarà una partita ricca di talento e tecnica, con i gioiellini Neymar e Lukaku a confronto.
Da una parte il Brasile, uno dei favoriti alla vittoria finale e una delle squadre più in forma del momento, reduce da 3 prestazioni impeccabili e 0 gol subiti.
Dall'altra il Belgio, una squadra piuttosto giovane e con poca esperienza internazionale, ma piena di talento e soprattutto molto agile, reduce da una partita sottotono con il Giappone vinta all'ultimo secondo.
Secondo me sarà una gara ricca di gol e decisa nei minuti finali, se dovessi azzardare un pronostico direi 4-3 per il Brasile.

Then suddenly the Selecao woke up and began to build the maneuver as they know best. Neymar gave spectacle with his tricks, Mexico closed in his own half of the field and it is only thanks to Ochoa if the result at the end of the first half is still fixed at 0-0.
In the second half the game was immediately unlocked: at 51' Willian flew to the right and put in the middle a cross for Neymar which scored with a tackle. Osorio's attempts to change the fate of the match by throwing Layun and Dos Santos into the mix are of no use. Brazil is unstoppable and continues to push and attack. The Mexicans' hopes are finally extinguished when, 2 minutes before the end of the game, the newly entered Firmino puts into the goal a ball that Ochoa rejected after Neymar's umpteenth strike.
Brazil is unstoppable with the third 2-0 in a row. Tite's boys convince every game more and more, yesterday against Mexico they played an almost perfect game (except the first 25 minutes) with few smudges and an excellent play style. Now, they have to overcome the obstacle Belgium, a young and fast team, just like themselves: at Kazan, on Friday the show is guaranteed.
The race of Osorio's Tricolor stops at the round of 16. Against this Brazil it was almost impossible to make it; however, the regret for not having made the most out of the first 25 minutes of amnesia of the Selecao, still remains, with a bit more of precision and coldness they could have achieved a goal that certainly would have shifted the match.

They go into the dressing rooms on the 0-0, with the astonishment of the people for an unrecognizable Belgium.
At the start of the second half things didn't change, on the contrary, the unthinkable happens: Japan takes the lead after 3 minutes with a diagonal of Haraguchi, which goes undisturbed between the immobile adversary defense. The Japanese understand that it is the right time and after other 4 minutes they sink the blow with Inui, author of a valuable conclusion from outside the area. That's when coach Martinez lights up and makes two changes that will change the fate of the match: on the field goes Fellaini and Chadli on the place of Mertens and Carrasco. At 69' with a bit of luck, Belgium shortens the distances: Vertonghen hits a header in an attempt to put it back in the area but it comes out a shot that defeats Kawashima. At this point, the Japanese entered into total panic and the inertia of the game was reversed. The Belgians then found a draw with their successor Fellaini at the invitation of Hazard. 2-2 when there is only a quarter of an hour from the end of the game. Japan is tired, has been running a lot in this match and hasn't got the strength needed in order to attack anymore. When it seems by now clear that we have to go to overtime, Chadli's last chance at 94' was transformed into a goal of big joy for the fans that came to the stadium: the game finished 3-2.
Hell and paradise in 90 minutes for the boys of Martinez. The arrogance and the low concentration could have cost a lot yesterday evening, luckily the coach has spotted the changes in the final and the technical carat has had the upper hand on the tenacity of the Japanese. But how much fear after a horrible first half. That's a lesson for the future and especially for the next test against Brazil: Neymar's team will certainly not make any discounts and even a tiny mistake can be fatal.
It's a real pity for Nishino's guys, who really deserved the passage of the turn after such a game. The Japanese, however, suicided themselves, because, with the 2-0 half an hour from the end of the game, you have to manage the game and keep calm, instead, they lost control. A defeat that is burning so much, but is probably the result of karma: do you remember how the Japanese passed the round thanks to the questionable rule of fair play?
Brazil - Belgium will be the third and penultimate quarter-final of the Russia World Cup 2018, scheduled for Friday, July 6 at 8 p.m. at the Kazan Arena.
What awaits us will be a game full of talent and technique, with Neymar and Lukaku in comparison.
On the one hand Brazil, one of the favorites to the final victory and one of the fittest teams of the moment, returning from 3 impeccable performances and 0 goals conceded. In my opinion, it will be a game full of goals and decided in the final minutes, if I were to risk a prediction I would say 4-3 for Brazil.
