Exploring our city and ugly places // Esplorare la propria città e i luoghi più squallidi

Many times we think we can exlore only extreme or far places, while the density on the reality allows us to explore our city and find big treasures.
I was looking the chart of the hills around my city and i noticed there was written (in italian): Isle of Bertolla, in the biggest city river, in a part where i have been several times but i never discovered it.
I plan now to go there and give you a report, if you follow me. Now i read in internet there is a project for protecting some bird and plants there. Interesting.
Another passion i have is discover the most ugly zones of the city by feet and find beautiful things like good little restaurant, cheap and good or specialized incredible shops or people. Last time i found the biggest toy cars i ver seen in the worst part of the city, I will talk about it later. This thing has a strange, good taste.

Tante volte pensiamo che si possano esplorare solo posti lontani, estremi od esotici invece qualche tempo fa ho iniziato a sviluppare una passione particolare, esplorare i posti vicino a me. La densità della realtà ci consente di trovare dei tesori inaspettati. Ad esempio sulla collina di Torino ci sono tantissimi sentieri molto interessanti dove va quasi nessuno e proprio mentre guardavo la cartina di questi, ho scoperto che nel fiume Po c'e un'isola che non avevo mai saputo esistesse dove leggo addirittura che si svolge un progetto di protezione di alcuni tipi di uccelli. Da visitare. Si chiama Isolone di Bertolla.
Beh un nuovo mondo da approfondire.
Un'altra passione che ho è quella di visitare i quartieri piu squallidi e malfamati, passeggiando a piedi, dove spesso scopro ottimi ristorantini dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, negozi specializzati impensabili ed eccezionali (l'ultimo è stato il negozi di macchinine più grosso e fornito che abbia mai visto) e persone eccezionali. E' pazzesco vedere che in questi luoghi peraltro squallidi l'iniziativa e la voglia di vivere umana è cosi forte e bella. Questa cosa ha un gusto strano e particolare.
Andrò nell'isolone di Bertolla e farò un report, se mi seguite.
