Ciao a tutti,
con il passare degli anni, la passione per le Vespa d'epoca, rimane più forte che mai dentro me, nonostante, per vari motivi, ho dovuto vendere tutta la mia collezione.
Ho sofferto molto per questa privazione...... purtroppo, non si poteva fare altro.
Nulla è perduto.......
Infatti, un bel giorno, ricevo la notizia più bella.
Riesco a far rivivere questa fantastica passione, grazie all'acquisizione di una:
“Vespa 50 Special del 1978”

I have suffered a lot for this deprivation....... unfortunately, you could not do anything else.

I can relive this fantastic passion thanks to the acquisition of one:
"Vespa 50 Special of 1978"

Questa Vespa ha un significato molto importante per me perchè apparteneva a una famiglia speciale, che mi è sempre stata accanto e a cui voglio un mondo di bene.
Presentava qualche difetto:

• Motore bloccato per via degli anni che è rimasta ferma in garage;
• Pneumatici usurati e ormai secchi;
• Carrozzeria spenta e con varie ammaccature;
• Alcuni pezzi rotti e usurati.

This Vespa has a very important meaning for me because it belonged to a special family that has always been with me and I want a world of good.
He had some flaws:

• Motor locked motor because of years that has remained stationary in the garage;
• Tires worn out and dry;
• Bodywork off and with various dents;
• Some broken and worn parts.

Insomma aveva bisogno di un restyling........ ma non di quelli radicali, un semplice lifting per farla rinascere pur mantenendo il suo fascino dell'epoca.
Portata dal mio meccanico di fiducia abbiamo deciso di intervenire sui seguenti elementi:

• Rifatto completamente il motore;
• Ripulito il carburatore;
• Sostituito sella, faro posteriore e marmitta;
• Sostituito entrambi i pneumatici;
• Lucidata la carrozzeria senza eliminare le piccole botte e i segni dell'usura.

Il risultato è una splendida Vespa 50 Special conservata.

In short, she needed a restyling........... but not the radical ones, a simple facelift to make her reborn while maintaining her charm of the time.
Brought by my trusted mechanic we decided to intervene on the following elements:

• Completely rebuilt the engine;
• Clean the carburettor;
• Replaced saddle, rear light and muffler;
• Replaced both tyres;
• Polished the bodywork without removing small casks and signs of wear.

The result is a beautiful Vespa 50 Special preserved.

Ora posso definitivamente dire che sono pronto per nuove avventure in sella a questo mito. :)
