How can I define something immense like the sea with simple words?

The sea can be everything and the opposite of everything. It can be strength and impetuosity but also sweetness and tranquility.

The sea is the mirror of the sky.
It is the mirror where the moon can see its beauty reflected.
It is the mirror where the sun can amplify the heat of its rays.
It is the place where all the tears of the sky arrive.

The sea is pure magic.

Me and the sea.

Since I was a child I was strongly attracted to the sea.
Today I am forty years old but when I dive into the sea I feel the same and identical feeling of joy and freedom I felt when I was a child.

In my life the sea has been the background of loves, games, friendships, races but also moments of reflection, pain and tears.

The sea has been and is for me a friend, a companion.
It has the power to amplify moods but also to modify them.
I would watch the sea for hours while listening to the music of the waves.

The sea is joy and freedom

Three days ago I was at a beach in Santa Maria di Leuca with my family.

Near my umbrella there was a couple, husband and wife.
The woman, who may have been around 50, was sitting in a wheelchair.
A very quiet but really beautiful couple. They exchanged mutual gestures of kindness that revealed a very strong bond of affection.

At a certain point the husband with loving attention helps his wife to get to the ladder that allows her to enter the sea.

When the wife enters the water a magic happens. The woman's face changes. His face lights up with joy. She is no longer a woman but a smiling child.

I was literally immobilized and enchanted by that scene.

If any word cannot describe the beauty of the sea ... the image of that joy, of that sense of freedom ...
the image of light in that woman's eyes fully describes the magic of the sea.

The sea is pure magic...

Come posso con delle semplici parole definire qualcosa di immenso come il mare?

Il mare è tutto e il contrario di tutto.
Può essere forza e impetuosità ma anche dolcezza e tranquillità.

Il mare è lo specchio del cielo.
E' lo specchio dove la luna può vedere riflessa la sua bellezza.
E' lo specchio dove il sole può amplificare il calore dei suoi raggi.
E' il luogo dove vanno a finire tutte le lacrime del cielo.

Il mare è pura magia.

Io e il mare.

Fin da bambino sono stato sempre attratto dal mare.
Oggi ho quaranta anni ma quando mi tuffo in mare provo la stessa e identica sensazione di gioia e di libertà che provavo quando ero bimbo.

Il mare è stato lo sfondo di amori, giochi, amicizie, corse ma anche di momenti di riflessione, dolori e lacrime.

Il mare è stato ed è un amico, un confidente.
Ha il potere di amplificare i miei stati d'animo ma anche di modificarli.
Guarderei il mare per ore mentre ascolto la musica delle onde inebriato dal suo profumo.

Il mare è gioia e libertà.

Tre giorni fa ero in un lido a Santa Maria di Leuca insieme alla mia famiglia.
Vicino al mio ombrellone c'era una coppia, marito e moglie. La donna, che poteva avere circa 50 anni, era seduta su una sedia a rotelle.
Una coppia molto silenziosa ma davvero bella. Si scambiavano gesti reciproci di gentilezza che facevano trasparire un fortissimo legame di affetto.

Ad un certo punto il marito con amorevole attenzione aiuta la moglie ad arrivare alla scaletta che permette di entrare in mare.

Quando la moglie entra in acqua succede una vera e propria magia.
Il viso della donna cambia. Il suo viso si illumina di gioia.
Non è più la donna che era seduta vicino al mio ombrellone ma una bambina dal sorriso luminoso.

Sono rimasto letteralmente immobilizzato e incantato da quella scena.

Se qualsiasi parola non può descrivere la bellezza del mare... l'immagine di quella gioia, di quel senso di libertà...
l'immagine della luce negli occhi di quella donna descrive in pieno la magia del mare.

Si il mare è pura magia...
