[ITA/ENG] Horror che passione! Horror that passion! (contiene spoiler! contains spoilers!)

Il genere horror è in assoluto il mio preferito in ambito cinematografico.
Ho visionato moltissimi film ed ora vi farò qui sotto una sequela dei film che assolutamente meritano la vostra attenzione.
Tra classici e pellicole un pò più di nicchia, ecco la mia classifica:

The horror genre is absolutely my favorite in the film industry.
I have watched many films and now I will show you below a series of films that absolutely deserve your attention.
Between classics and films a little more niche, here is my ranking:

1) Vacancy-voto 8

Pellicola del 2007, con attori protagonisti Kate Beckinsale e Luke Wilson, rispettivamente nei ruoli di Amy Fox e David Fox.
Narra la storia di una coppia, in crisi matrimoniale dopo la morte del loro figlio, che di notte stanno percorrendo una strada di montagna, un guasto alla macchina li costringe a pernottare in un motel isolato e fatiscente.
Entrati nella stanza cominciano a sentire dei rumori molesti, ma vengono tranquillizzati dal direttore.
Dopo poco però, trovano alcune videocassette, che mostrano delle scene di snuff movie, molto cruente e girate proprio in quella stanza.
Si rendono conto che sono destinati a fare la stessa fine, e mettono in atto ogni strategia di fuga.
Il marito rimane ferito, ma fortunatamente la moglie riesce a salvarsi e a chiamare la polizia.

1) Vacancy-vote 8

Film of 2007, starring Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson, respectively in the roles of Amy Fox and David Fox.
Tells the story of a couple, in a marriage crisis after the death of their son, who are walking a mountain road at night, a car breakdown forces them to stay overnight in an isolated and dilapidated motel
Entered the room they begin to hear loud noises, but are reassured by the director.
After a while, however, they find some videotapes, which show scenes of snuff movie, very bloody and shot right in that room.
They realize that they are destined to do the same end, and implement every escape strategy.
The husband is injured, but fortunately his wife manages to save herself and call the police.

2) I spit on your grave-voto 7

Anno 2010. Attrice protagonista Sarah Butler nei panni di Jennifer Hills.
Jennifer è una giovane scrittrice, che per redarre il suo nuovo libro decide di affittare una baita nel bosco.
Perde la strada ed arriva in una stazione di benzina, dove quattro ragazzi tentano di approcciarla.
Riesce a seminarli, ma questi decidono di prenderla di mira, e di spiarla.
Una notte questi ragazzi sopraggiungono nella casa di Jennifer, tentano di violentarla, ma lei riesce a scappare.
Incontra lo sceriffo Storch, ma nemmeno lui ha buone intenzioni,infatti partecipa allo stupro di gruppo.
La ragazza riesce però a salvarsi la vita, e si nasconde per attuare la sua vendetta.
Ognuno dei suoi aguzzini sarà punito, e passerà le pene dell'inferno prima di morire.

2) I spit on your grave-vote 7

Year 2010. Actress starring Sarah Butler as Jennifer Hills.
Jennifer is a young writer, who decides to rent a cabin in the woods to write her new book.
He loses the road and arrives at a gas station, where four boys try to approach her.
He manages to sow them, but they decide to target her, and to spy on her.
One night these guys come to Jennifer's house, they try to rape her, but she manages to escape.
He meets Sheriff Storch, but even he has good intentions, in fact he participates in the group rape.
But the girl manages to save her life, and hides to implement her revenge.
Each of his torturers will be punished, and he will pass the pains of hell before he dies.

3) A serbian film-voto 9

FIlm del 2010. Attore protagonista S. Todorovic, nel ruolo di Milos.
Il titolo del film appare molto innocente, ma è uno dei film più cruenti e discussi di sempre.
In molti paesi è stato addirittura bandito.
Io lo definirei un capolavoro, un dramma psichedelico.
La sensazione di angoscia non abbandona lo spettatore fino agli ultimi attimi.
Milos è un ex pornodivo serbo, allontanatosi dal set per passare del tempo con la sua famiglia, ma data la sua situazione economica precaria, decide di accettare a scatola chiusa il ruolo che un regista (Vukmir) gli propone.
La mattina seguente alla stipula del contratto, Milos di reca sul set, un orfanotrofio abbandonato, ed inizia a girare il film.
Da qui iniziano una sequela di scene violente,ed abusi di vario genere.
Non le descriverò per non turbare i lettori più suscettibili.
Milos disgustato decide di abbandonare il lavoro, ma viene drogato e si risveglia nel suo letto ricoperto di sangue.
Inizierà a ricostruire il tragico accaduto delle ore precedenti.

3) A serbian film-vote 9

2010 FIlm. Actor protagonist S. Todorovic, in the role of Milos.
The title of the film appears very innocent, but it is one of the most bloody and discussed films of all time.
In many countries it has even been banned.
I would call it a masterpiece, a psychedelic drama.
The feeling of anguish does not abandon the viewer until the last moments.
Milos is a former Serbian porn star, leaving the set to spend time with his family, but given his precarious economic situation, he decides to accept the role that a director (Vukmir) proposes to him.
The morning following the signing of the contract, Milos goes to the set, an abandoned orphanage, and starts shooting the film.
From here begin a sequence of violent scenes, and abuses of various kinds.
I will not describe them to avoid disturbing the most susceptible readers.
Disgusted Milos decides to quit his job, but gets drugged and wakes up in his blood-covered bed.
It will begin to reconstruct the tragic events of the previous hours.

4) Case 39-voto 7

Anno 2009. Attrici protagoniste Renee Zellweger-Emily Jenkins, Jodelle Ferland-Lillith Sullivan.
Trovo questo film molto carino, anche se non particolarmente innovativo.
Emily è un'assistente sociale, che lavora principalmente a contatto con i bambini maltrattati.
Un giorno il suo capo Wayne, le consegna il suo 39esimo caso: si tratta di una bambina di 10 anni, di nome Lillith, probabile vittima di abusi domestici.
La donna inizia ad indagare, e nonostante le riluttanze del suo capo, è convinta che la bambina sia realmente maltrattata.
Emily riesce a consegnare il suo numero di telefono a Lillith, dicendole che se avesse avuto bisogno di aiuto, non avrebbe dovuto esitare a chiamarla.
Una notte Emily viene contattata dalla bambina, e con l'aiuto del suo amico detective Mike, accorrono nella sua casa per salvarla, i suoi genitori infatti la stavano mettendo nel forno.
Emily ottiene l'affidamento di Lillith, ma da qui iniziano degli episodi misteriosi, come l'omicidio dei genitori di Carlo, per mano dello stesso figlio, un ragazzino coetaneo di Lillith, o la misteriosa morte dello psicologo Douglas.
In entrambi i casi, la sera del tragico evento era partita una chiamata dall'abitazione di Emily.
Emily inizia ad avere sospetti, ed in seguito scoprirà che Lillith è in realtà un demone assassino.
Emily chiede aiuto a Mike, ma anche lui perderà la vita, così dovrà farsi forza e con coraggio riuscire a vincere le forze oscure che albergano in Lillith.

4) Case 39-vote 7

Year 2009. Actresses starring Renee Zellweger-Emily Jenkins, Jodelle Ferland-Lillith Sullivan.
I find this film very nice, even if not particularly innovative.
Emily is a social worker who works primarily in contact with abused children.
One day his boss Wayne, gives her his 39th case: it is a 10 year old girl, named Lillith, probable victim of domestic abuse.
The woman begins to investigate, and despite the reluctances of her boss, she is convinced that the child is really mistreated.
Emily manages to deliver her phone number to Lillith, telling her that if she needed help, she should not hesitate to call her.
One night, Emily is contacted by the girl, and with the help of her friend detective Mike, they rush to her house to save her, her parents were in fact putting her in the oven.
Emily gets Lillith's custody, but from here begins mysterious episodes, like the murder of Carlo's parents, by the hand of the same son, a young boy of Lillith, or the mysterious death of psychologist Douglas.
In both cases, on the evening of the tragic event, a call had started from Emily's home.
Emily starts to have suspicions, and later finds out that Lillith is actually a killer demon.
Emily asks Mike for help, but he too will lose his life, so he will have to be strong and bravely able to win the dark forces that lodge in Lillith.

5) The exorcism of Emily Rose-voto 10

Anno 2005-attrice protagonosta Jennifer Carpenter nei panni di Emily Rose.
Emily Rose è una ragazza di 19 anni, proveniente da una famiglia povera e molto religiosa.
Vince una borsa di studio, e realizza il suo sogno di andare al college.
Una notte, mentre si trova sola nella sua stanza del dormitorio, avvengono strani eventi: sente odore di bruciato, porte sbattere da sole, matite muoversi, ed una forza misteriosa che cerca di soffocarla.
Emily inizia a porsi domande, i dottori le diagnosticano l'epilessia a seguito delle continue convulsioni, le cure famracologiche però non risolvono i problemi.
La ragazza ritorna in famiglia, che si convince che la causa di tutto ciò, sia una possessione demoniaca.
Viene chiamato padre Moore per praticare l'esorcismo ( durante il quale vengono fatte registrazioni audio ), la ragazza reagisce contorcendosi e parlando lingue sconosciute.
Emily muore, il prete viene mandato a processo e difeso dall'avvocatessa agnostica Enn Bruner, la quale dopo aver visionato gli audio, inizierà ad essere meno scettica nei riguardi della versione del prete.
Questo è a mio avviso il film horror per antonomasia, nettamente migliore della pellicola degli anni '70, per tipologia di storia ed effetti speciali.

5) The exorcism of Emily Rose-vote 10

Year 2005-actress Jennifer Carpenter in the role of Emily Rose.
Emily Rose is a 19-year-old girl from a poor and very religious family.
He wins a scholarship, and realizes his dream of going to college.
One night, while alone in her dorm room, strange events happen: she smells burning, doors slamming, pencils moving, and a mysterious force that tries to suffocate her.
Emily starts asking questions, the doctors diagnose epilepsy as a result of continuous convulsions, but the famracological treatments do not solve the problems.
The girl returns to the family, who is convinced that the cause of all this is a demonic possession.
He is called Father Moore to practice exorcism (during which audio recordings are made), the girl reacts by wriggling and speaking unknown languages.
Emily dies, the priest is sent to trial and defended by the agnostic lawyer Enn Bruner, who after viewing the audio, will begin to be less skeptical about the version of the priest.
This is in my opinion the horror film par excellence, much better than the film of the '70s, by type of story and special effects.

6) Hide and Seek-voto 8.5

Film del 2005. Attori protagonisti Robert De Niro-David Callaway e Dakota Fanning-Emily Callaway.
Dopo l'improvviso suicidio della moglie Allison, lo psicologo David Callaway, decide di abbandonare la frenetica New York, per trasferirsi con la figlia Emily, in un paesino a nord di New York.
La bambina dopo la morte della madre è diventata silenziosa e solitaria, ha trovato conforto nel suo amico immaginario Charlie.
La figlia ne asserisce l'esistenza, ma il padre non vuole accettarlo e diventa sempre più preoccupato per la condizione mentale della bimba.
Quando David comincia a frequentare una donna, Elisabeth, ed ella muore tragicamente, le circostanze dell'accaduto non lasciano dubbi: Charlie esiste!.
David è preoccupatissimo, e si rende conto che la figlia si trova davvero in pericolo, sospetta di un vicino e si barrica in casa.
Proprio in questo momento scopre la verità: Charlie è proprio lui!
Tutto cià è dovuto ad uno sdoppiamento della personalità.
Era stato lui stesso ad uccidere la moglie.
Sconvolta la figlia chiama Katherine, una collega del padre, che accorre.
Ella dapprima viene rinchiusa in uno sgabuzzino da David, ma in seguito sarà proprio lei a mettere in salvo la bambina.
Trovatasi al sicuro a casa di Katherine, Emily, farà un disegno dove si raffigura con due teste, segno inequivocabile che anche lei è affetta dallo sdoppiamento di personalità, come suo padre.
Un film che merita sicuramente la visione.

6) Hide and Seek-vote 8.5

Film of 2005. Actors starring Robert De Niro-David Callaway and Dakota Fanning-Emily Callaway.
After the sudden suicide of his wife Allison, the psychologist David Callaway, he decided to leave the hectic New York, to move with his daughter Emily, in a village north of New York.
After her mother's death she became silent and lonely, she found comfort in her imaginary friend Charlie.
The daughter asserts its existence, but the father does not want to accept it and becomes more and more worried about the child's mental condition.
When David starts dating a woman, Elisabeth, and she dies tragically, the circumstances of the incident leave no doubt: Charlie exists!.
David is very worried, and realizes that his daughter is really in danger, suspicious of a neighbor and barricades himself in the house.
Right now he discovers the truth: Charlie is really him!
All this is due to a split personality.
He had killed his wife himself.
Shocked, her daughter calls Katherine, a colleague of her father, who rushes.
She is first locked up in a closet by David, but later she will be the one to save the child.
Found safe at Katherine's house, Emily, will make a drawing where she is depicted with two heads, an unmistakable sign that she is also affected by the splitting of personality, like her father.
A film that definitely deserves the vision.

7) The Shining-voto 10

Pellicola del 1980, regia di Stanley Kubrick, attori protagonisti Jack Nicholson-Jack Torrance, Shelley Duvall-Wendy Torrance, e Danny Lioyd-Danny Torrance.
Jack Torrance è uno scrittore, e viene assunto come custode invernale dell'Overlook hotel.
Il bambino, Danny, dimostra di avere abilità extra-sensoriali, che vengono subito notate dal cuoco afro americano
Dick Hallovan.
Danny infatti è molto telepatico (possiede la cosiddetta luccicanza); e durante la trama assisterà ad apparizioni paranormali, come i corpi delle gemelle mutilate ed uccise dal padre.
Jack nel frattempo inizerà a dare segni di squilibrio mentale, la moglie infatti ritrova molte pagine scritte da lui a macchina , che riportano tutte la stessa frase: "il mattino ha l'oro in bocca".
Anche Jack inizierà ad avere delle visioni, nella sua mente si materializzerà una festa, dove il cameriere Mr Grady, reo di avere assassinato moglie e figlie, ed essersi in seguito tolto la vita , gli ordinerà di uccidere la sua famiglia con la stessa ascia, con cui quest'ultimo aveva commesso il crimine.
Jack perderà completamente il senno della ragione, e tenterà di compiere l'omicidio commissionatogli, ma fortunatamente senza esito positivo.
Morirà assiderato nel labirinto del parco, fuori l'hotel, tentando di acchiappare il figlio per ucciderlo a colpi di ascia.
Che dire? Questo è uno dei miei film preferiti in assoluto!

7) The Shining-vote 10

Film of 1980, directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring actors Jack Nicholson-Jack Torrance, Shelley Duvall-Wendy Torrance, and Danny Lioyd-Danny Torrance.
Jack Torrance is a writer, and is hired as a winter guardian of Overlook hotel.
The child, Danny, proves to have extra-sensory abilities, which are immediately noticed by the Afro-American chef
Dick Hallovan.
In fact, Danny is very telepathic (he possesses the so-called the shining); and during the plot he will witness paranormal apparitions, like the bodies of mutilated twins killed by his father.
Jack in the meantime will begin to show signs of mental imbalance, in fact, his wife finds many pages written by him, which all carry the same sentence: "the morning has the gold in the mouth".
Even Jack will begin to have visions, in his mind a feast will materialize, where the waiter Mr Grady, guilty of murdering his wife and daughters, and having later taken his life, will order him to kill his family with the same ax, with which the latter had committed the crime.
Jack will completely lose the sense of reason, and will attempt to carry out the murder commissioned him, but fortunately without success.
He will die in the labyrinth of the park outside the hotel, trying to catch his son to kill him with an ax.
What to say? This is one of my favorite movies ever!
