My sketchbook - #5 Bear 🐻

[ITA] Ci sono tantissimi orsi famosi nella letterature oltre che a essere protagonisti di storie e leggende.

Sicuramente conoscerete il saggio orso Baloo pronto a dare consigli al piccolo Mowgli protagonista del famoso Libro della giungla oppure il simpatico e un po distratto Winnie the Pooh e le sue avventure nel Bosco dei cento acri con i suoi amici. Ancora mi viene in mente l'orso Yoghi e il suo fedele amico Bubu o Little John l'orso amico di Robin Hood nella versione animata della Disney. Ma oggi ho pensato di raccontarvi una storia norvegese che ci svela perché l'orso ha la coda mozza.

C'era una volta un orso che incontrò una volpe con un bel bottino di pesci. La furbacchiona li aveva rubati a un pescatore fingendosi morta. L'orso incuriosito chiese alla volpe come se li fosse procurati e lei rispose che li aveva pescati. Le domandò allora di spiegargli come aveva fatto per poter anche lui procurarsi cibo in abbondanza. Lei spiegò che aveva usato la sua coda immergendola nel lago ghiacciato. Lo avvisò che avrebbe sentito un po di bruciore ma di portare pazienza perché erano i pesci che abboccavano. L'orso andò quindi sul lago, taglio un cerchio nel ghiaccio e immerse la coda. Passato un bel po di tempo diede uno strattone per tirarla fuori ma, essendosi ghiacciata si stacco...

E così accadde che la volpe si prese gioco dell'orso lasciandolo con una coda corta e tagliata ^.^

Surely you have know the wise bear Baloo ready to give advice to the little Mowgli protagonist of the famous The jungle book or the nice and a little distracted Winnie the Pooh and it's adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his friends. I can still remember the Yogi bear and his faithful friend Bubu or Little John the bear friend of Robin Hood in the animated version of Disney. But today I thought of telling you a Norwegian story that reveals us because the bear has a severed tail.

Once upon a time there was a bear who met a fox with a good haul of fish. The clever fox had stolen them from a fisherman. The intrigued bear asked the fox how it had caught them and it replied that it had fish them. Then it asked it to explain to it how it had done. It explained that it had used it's tail by immersing it in the frozen lake. It warned it that it would feel a little burning but be patient, because they were the bite fish. The bear then went to the lake, circled the ice and dipped it's tail. After a long time he pulled a shot to pull it out but, having frozen, it comes off ...

And so it happened that the fox made fun of the bear leaving it with a short tail and cut ^.^*
