Sabato 24 Novembre ci sarà la Finale di ritorno Boca Juniors-River Plate, l'andata è terminata 2-2, sotto una pioggia battente, a rendere ancora più epico, quello che da tutti è considerato il match più importante della storia. Si affrontano due delle squadre più importanti del Sud America, ma oltre ad essere le due squadre più blasonate d'Argentina, sono anche entrambe di BUOENOS AIRES, e sono diametricalmente opposte sotto tutti i punti di vista, sociale culturale e politico. Il Boca è la squadra del popolo, contro il River Plate( I MILLIONAIRES) la squadra ricca della città.
Quello che mi rende orgoglioso, è la storia del Boca Juniors, tutta Italiana.
Nel 1905 un gruppo di 5 ragazzi diede vita nel quartiere di Boca, a Buenos Aires, a una squadra che nella storia diventerà una delle più grandi del Sud America e del mondo in generale. Al Terzo posto con 18 trofei in una speciale classifica dei club più vincenti.
Non è un caso che vengano chiamati gli XENEIZES (GENOVESI), anzi nel loro sito ufficiale, è presente anche una traduzione sia in Italiano che anche in dialetto ligure, per rendere omaggio alle origini da cui sono partiti.
Nel 800 l'Argentina e il Brasile erano mete importanti dove sbarcare e cercare di crearsi una nuova vita. Gli Italiani si stabilivano in un quartiere popolare di Buenos Ares, appunto La Boca.
Il nome Boca Juniors, vuole rendere omaggio al quartiere che li aveva ospitati, mentre Juniors, per indicare una squadra di ragazzi.
Curiosa fu la scelta dei colori sociali, si narra che uno dei ragazzi che lavorava al porto, decise di far scegliere alla sorte, e che avrebbero scelto i colori della prima nave che avesse attraccato. Il fato volle che fosse Svedese e da qui la scelta dei colori gialli e blu.
Il 3 Aprile 1905 nasce ufficialmente il Boca Juniors.
Tra i più grandi giocatori che hanno vestito questa maglia c'è su tutti, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA, il più grande della storia Argentina e per molti il più grande di sempre.
Martin Palermo, il più grande centravanti del Boca con 236 gol realizzati e tantissime vittorie.
Mario Boye, giocatore sconosciuto ai più, chiamato 'EL Atomico', per la sua potenza e bravura nei colpi di testa.
Juan Roman Riquelme, fantasista magico, numero 10 purissimo, spettacolo allo stato puro, che ha incantato anche in Europa.
Carlos Tevez, grande attaccante del passato recente Juventino, che si appresta da capitano ad affrotatre la finale di Coppa Libertadores contro il River
Hugo Ibarra, tra i più grandi laterali destra della storia Argentina.
Gabriel Omar Batistuta, indimenticato bomber di Fiorentina, Roma e Inter, oltre che goleardo assoluto della Nazionale prima di Messi.
