Here I am again to tell you about one of the first manga read by myself in1998. The comic in question is called "Please save my earth" and was released in Japan in 1987, while in Italy the publication began in 1998 and is made up of 32 tankobons. The manga is written by Saki Hiwatari, a mangaka known primarily for this work.

Being a rather old comic book, the Italian edition follows our layout and western reading, in fact up until about fifteen years ago the manga that were in Italy were all laid out in the western world, while for some years it has been Japanese style.
The comic can be categorized as a shojo manga (intended for a female audience) science fiction and the plot, I assure you, is beautiful intricate!

The story focuses on the figure of the student Sakiguchi, the child named Rin and five other students; all the characters listed have collective dreams that represent scientists on the Moon who collect data on Earth. Are we here? Perfect, let's proceed! Sakiguchi realizes that his other schoolmates have the same dreams and together with them he decides to find the other four people missing the call. In fact, the three boys realize that they dream the same dream every time, but every time from the point of view of a different scientist. Almost as a game the three seek and find the four missing people, so they are sure, they will be able to make sense of their dreams. Among the other four to have the same dreams, there is also a child, reincarnated again at the death of the first reincarnated ... You read well, I assure you!
Just to mess up even more things the seven guys will find themselves dreaming together (ehh ok ...) and ends here? Of course not, in fact soon the boys will understand that they are not only dreams, but rather their previous reincarnations and old friendships, grudges and more will come back to the surface again ...
Uff, I hope I was as clear as possible!

Obviously I will not reveal the ending, but I assure you that even if the manga is beautiful intricate, it is worth reading! In case you do not want to go into the reading, there is a movie of about two hours and six OAV (Original Anime Video) that however cover about half of the story told in the manga.

Eccomi di nuovo qui per parlarvi di uno dei primi manga letti dalla sottoscritta nel lontano 1998. il fumetto in questione si chiama “Proteggi la mia Terra” ed è uscito in Giappone nel 1987, mentre in Italia la pubblicazione ha avuto inizio nel 1998 ed è formata da 32 tankobon. Il manga è scritto da Saki Hiwatari, una mangaka nota principalmente proprio per questa opera.

Essendo un fumetto piuttosto vecchio, l'edizione italiana segue la nostra impaginatura e la lettura all'occidentale, infatti fino ad una quindicina di anni fa i manga che si trovavano in Italia erano impaginati tutti all'occidentale, mentre da qualche anno di mantiene lo stile nipponico.
Il fumetto può essere catalogato come uno shojo manga (cioè destinato ad un pubblico femminile) fantascientifico e la trama, vi assicuro, è bella intricata!

La storia si incentra sulla figura della studentessa Sakiguchi, il bambino di nome Rin e altri cinque studenti; tutti i personaggi elencati hanno dei sogni collettivi che rappresentano degli scienziati stanziati sulla Luna che raccolgono dati sulla Terra. Fin qui ci siamo? Perfetto, procediamo! Sakiguchi si rende conto che altri suoi compagni di scuola hanno gli stessi suoi sogni e assieme a loro decide di trovare le altre quattro persone mancanti all'appello. Infatti i tre ragazzi si accorgono di sognare ogni volta lo stesso sogno, ma ogni volta dal punto di vista di uno scienziato differente. Quasi per gioco i tre cercano e trovano le quattro persone mancanti, così sono sicuri, riusciranno a dare un senso ai loro sogni. Tra gli altri quattro ad avere gli stessi sogni, c'è anche un bambino, reincarnatosi di nuovo alla morte del primo reincarnato... Avete letto bene, ve lo assicuro!
Giusto per incasinare ancora di più le cose i sette ragazzi si troveranno per sognare assieme (ehh vabbè...) e finisce qui? Ovviamente no, infatti ben presto i ragazzi capiranno che non sono solo sogni, ma bensì loro precedenti reincarnazioni e le vecchie amicizie, rancori ed altro torneranno di nuovo a galla...
Uff, spero di essere stata il più chiara possibile!

Ovviamente non vi svelerò il finale, però vi assicuro che anche se il manga è bello intricato, vale la pena leggerlo! Nel caso non vogliate addentrarvi nella lettura, esistono sia una film di due ore circa che sei OAV (Original Anime Video) che però ripercorrono circa metà della storia raccontata nel manga.
