Expo 2015 (ENG-ITA)

In this article I wanted to change the topic and talk about my visit to the Expo in Milan in 2015. International and Universal Expo shows are organized by the International Exhibition Office, abbreviated in BIE.
Universal Expo take place every five years and last for six months; international ones are held during the interval between the two Universal Expo and last for a maximum of three months.
All nations can be members of the BIE, the important thing is that they signed the 1928 Convention. To this day the member countries are 169.
The topic of Expo in Milan was that of nutrition in all its facets, in fact it was talking about sustainable eco-feeding, healthy eating regimes, and how to cope with starvation in the world.

I was at the event in October with a friend of mine and I must say that everything was really well organized! The clusters I liked most were Nepal and Russian. The first one has also a very touching story: I do not if you remember that, but in April 2015 in Nepal there was a devastating earthquake and the Nepalese craftsmen who were in Italy to work at the pavilion had to go back to sincerely about the health of their loved ones. This meant that their pavilion would have been incomplete, but Italian and other national craftsmen came there to replace them, so Nepalese pavilion was over! In addition to this, visitors could leave an offer to help Nepal in post-earthquake reconstruction.

Of all the other kind the Russian pavilion! Inside it was very modern, followed a path where the various crops in the country were shown and at the end of the tour we were in a large salon where a futuristic bar was located and tasted many types of vodka ... Needless to say that we immediately took advantage of it, and they were very good!

Another work worthy of note was the Tree of Life, which offered performances of lights, sounds and soap bubbles!
I was very sorry to have not been able to visit the Japanese pavilion, friends who were lucky to have visited it tell me that it was really great but I assure you that when I went it was really unapproachable, at least I had to do a row of 7/8 hours,so I gave up!

In questo articolo volevo cambiare argomento e parlarvi della mia visita all'Expo di Milano nel 2015. Le esposizioni sia internazionali che universali dette Expo vengono organizzate dall'Ufficio Internazionale delle Esposizioni, abbreviato in BIE.
Le Expo universali si tengono ogni cinque anni e durano, al massimo, sei mesi; quelle internazionali si tengono durante l'intervallo tra le due Expo universali e durano al massimo tre mesi.
Tutti gli stati possono essere membri del BIE, l'importante è che sottoscrivano la Convenzione del 1928. Ad oggi i paesi membri sono 169.
L'argomento dell'Expo di Milano era quello dell'alimentazione in tutte le sue sfaccettature infatti si parlava di un'alimentazione eco sostenibile, di sani regimi alimentari e di come poter far fronte alla fame nel mondo.

Sono stata alla manifestazione in Ottobre con una mia amica e devo dire che il tutto era davvero ben organizzato! I cluster che mi sono piaciuti di più sono stati quello del Nepal e quello russo. Il primo ha anche una storia molto toccante: non so se ricordate, ma pochi mesi prima in Nepal si era verificato un terremoto devastante e gli artigiani nepalesi che si trovavano in Italia per lavorare al padiglione sono dovuti rientrare per sincerarsi sulla salute dei loro cari. Questo comportava il fatto che con molta probabilità il loro padiglione sarebbe stato incompleto, ma pronti a sostituirli sono arrivati artigiani sia italiani che di altre nazionalità e così il loro padiglione è stato terminato! Oltre a questo i visitatori potevano lasciare un'offerta per aiutare il Nepal nella ricostruzione post terremoto.

Di tutto altro genere il padiglione della Russia! All'interno era molto moderno, si seguiva un percorso dove venivano illustrate le varie coltivazioni presenti nel paese e alla fine del tour ci si trovava in un ampio salone dove era stato posizionato un bar futuristico che faceva assaggiare molti tipi di vodka... Inutile dirvi che ne abbiamo subito approfittato, ed era buonissima!

Un'altra opera secondo me degna di nota è stata quella dell'albero della vita, che offriva spettacoli di luci, suoni e bolle di sapone!
Mi è spiaciuto molto di non essere riuscita a visitare il padiglione giapponese, amici che hanno avuto la fortuna di esserci andati mi hanno detto che era veramente fantastico, ma vi assicuro che quando sono andata io era davvero inavvicinabile, come minimo bisognava fare una fila di 7/8 ore!
