Il mago/The wizard - 3d art (ITA-ENG)

Oggi ho voluto testare un nuovo personaggio di Daz3d, il mago. Il mago è un personaggio che mi ha sempre affascinato, sguardo tenebroso, occhi di ghiaccio, lunga barba bianca, grandi poteri. Diversi anni fa avevo anche pensato di tatuarmelo!
La figura del mago è presente nel capolavoro di J. R. R. Tolkien Il Signore degli Anelli, nella versione bianca con Gandalf e nella versione nera con Saruman.
Un altro bel mago con le sembianze da me illustrate, è presente nei racconti di Harry Potter, scritti da J. K. Rowling, nella figura di Albus Silente.

Today I wanted to test a new character of Daz3d, the wizard. The wizard is a character that has always fascinated me, dark eyes, eyes of ice, long white beard, great powers. Several years ago I even thought of tattooing it!
The figure of the magician is present in the masterpiece of J. R. R. Tolkien The Lord of the Rings, in the white version with Gandalf and in the black version with Saruman.
Another beautiful wizard with the features I have illustrated, is present in the stories of Harry Potter, written by J. K. Rowling, in the figure of Albus Dumbledore.

Passiamo alla realizzazione del disegno.
Sono partito dal nuovo personaggio Wizard messo a disposizione da Daz3d, si tratta di un vecchietto a cui naturalmente bisogna poi aggiungere gli abiti, la barba, la posa e tutto ciò che ci serve per arrivare al risultato voluto.
Dopo aver vestito il personaggio, ho deciso una posa da fargli assumere; ho optato per una posa di 3/4 verso la mia sinistra, mentre la testa è ruotata verso destra e con gli occhi guarda lo spettatore dal basso verso l'alto. É stato difficile posizionare la barba sopra al mantello. Per finire ho fatto in modo che tenesse la sua mano sinistra aperta in una posizione a metà tra il suo corpo e lo spettatore. Dopo un'ora di rendering ho aperto l'immagine con Photoshop. La prima cosa che ho fatto è stato creare uno sfondo mistico, un gioco di scie luminose e scie fumogene. Poi sono passato alla sfera di luce ed enrgia nella mano del mago. Per finire ho aggiunto una vignettatura scura e ho aumentato il microcontrasto sulla barba e sul viso.

Let's move on to the realization of the drawing.
I started from the new Wizard character made available by Daz3d, it is an old man to whom we naturally must then add the clothes, the beard, the pose and all that we need to get to the desired result.
After dressing the character, I decided a pose to make him hire; I opted for a 3/4 pose to my left, while the head is turned to the right and with the eyes looks at the viewer from the bottom up. It was difficult to place the beard on top of the coat. Finally I made sure that he kept his left hand open in a position halfway between his body and the spectator. After an hour of rendering I opened the image with Photoshop. The first thing I did was to create a mystical background, a game of light trails and smoke trails. Then I switched to the sphere of light and energy in the wizard's hand. Finally I added a dark vignette and I increased the microcontrast on the beard and on the face.
