A Korea to cry on

Courses and recourses of history lead us today to say that sooner or later it happens to everyone to cry about a Korea ... whether it is north or south.

We Italians have not yet forgotten the infamous North Korea, amateur team that was able to eliminate us to the 1966 World Cup in England, and today we do not seem to be true what we saw yesterday. Yet it's all real!

This time they were not those of the North, but those of the South, but they were always Korean and capable of a business that will remain forever in the annals. The Germany reigning world champion was eliminated by surprise by Asians with almond eyes.

Obviously there is not much to say, it happened to us and again for a few weeks Germany will remain champion in charge; the Germans went to the world championships, while we sat down to watch them from the chair of the house.
We can not forget that we were eliminated during the play-offs from Sweden, which Germany still beat 2-1 even if with difficulty. The Germans have made the company against the Swedes to recover the goal of disadvantage and managing to win at the last second with even one man less, and this honors the champions in office.

We do not have much to celebrate, even if in lean periods "we stick" to each step to find some satisfaction.
When you can not win, you are satisfied with the defeats of others.
Obviously we are talking about sports, not serious things ....

The matches of the elimination round had highlighted several difficulties of this Germany, but the match with Sweden, won as only the Germans can do, presaged that in the end the team coached by Joachim Löw would still arrive at the bottom of the world as always is success.

A certain Gary Lineker, one of the best British footballers in history, had to say after his defeat in the 1990 semi-final lost by his England against Germany:
"Football is a simple game: 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes, and in the end Germany wins."

But the story changes every so often and for this time the Germans will not win, even from today even Germany has its own Korea to cry on

Woff, woff!

Hello @elohim4, Nice to meet you!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶
