Biogas e bio-metano da agricoltura

il summit "Biogas Italy 2018" svoltosi a Roma traccia un futuro roseo per il settore.
Le previsioni dicono che la produzione di biogas delle aziende agricole italiane potrebbe coprire il 15% dell'intero fabbisogno di gas del paese. Anche le stime sull'occupazione sono interessanti, si prevede la creazione, entro il 2030, di oltre 21 mila nuovi posti di lavoro.
Dunque i dati dicono che il biogas può dare un grande contributo alla riduzione della dipendenza dal gas estero.
La produzione dello stesso ha anche un impatto positivo sulla riduzione delle emissioni di CO2, stimate in 197 milioni di tonnellate in meno, se l'incremento del settore dovesse proseguire fino al 2050.

Il biogas è particolarmente utile non solo per produrre calore ed elettricità, ma anche per la produzione di fertilizzanti o ricavarne biometano da utilizzare sia per il riscaldamento o per autotrasporto. Il settore agricolo e quello delle energie rinnovabili pare essere sempre più interconnesso; la necessità per gli agricoltori di avere fonti di reddito integrative alle ordinarie attività tradizionali, si sposano con la necessità di avere un'agricoltura più sostenibile e più rispettosa del nostro ambiente.

Biogas and bio-methane from agriculture

the summit "Biogas Italy 2018" held in Rome traces a rosy future for the sector.
The forecasts say that the biogas production of Italian farms could cover 15% of the entire gas needs of the country. Estimates on employment are also interesting, with the creation, by 2030, of over 21 thousand new jobs.
So the data say that biogas can make a big contribution to reducing the dependence on foreign gas.
The production of the same also has a positive impact on the reduction of CO2 emissions, estimated at 197 million tons less, if the increase in the sector were to continue until 2050.

Biogas is particularly useful not only for producing heat and electricity, but also for the production of fertilizers or for obtaining biomethane to be used either for heating or for road haulage. The agricultural and renewable energy sectors seem to be increasingly interconnected; the need for farmers to have supplementary sources of income for ordinary traditional activities, combine with the need for more sustainable and more respectful agriculture in our environment.
