Scrivete i vostri post, copiare è come barare. Write your own posts, copying is like cheating. ITA/ENG

Dedico il mio post di oggi per scrivere riguardo il tema del copiare post trovati su altri siti, ultimamente è successo che qualcuno fosse beccato a copiare, e come ci si aspetta chi viene beccato è avvisato ed eventualmente allontanato dal gruppo in cui si trova.

L'argomento mi tocca particolarmente, per il fatto che vedo nelle persone che copiano i loro post lo stesso scopo delle persone che barano nei tornei videoludici. Negli anni di esperienza online nel mondo di videogiochi posso affermare con orgoglio di non aver mai usato nessun tipo di cheat/programma per avvantaggiarmi rispetto all'avversario, sia in partite amichevoli che in partite agonistiche. Negli anni sono rimasto in contatto con un amico conosciuto online molti anni fa, e ogni tanto ricordando i bei vecchi tempi mi capita di menzionare un episodio avvenuto quando avevo appena 18 anni. Il leader del clan in cui mi trovavo mi prese da parte dopo una sessione di allenamento chiedendomi "sei sicuro che giochi pulito, vero?", risposi che non avevo mai usato trucchi e che non avevo intenzione di usarli mai, e lo invitai a controllare il mio computer o visionare il mio stile di gioco in tempo reale, nulla da nascondere.
Insomma, questo piccolo racconto per far capire il mio punto di vista sulla questione, simile alla visione del mio capo clan dell'epoca.

Vedo un parallelismo tra il barare nei tornei online(dove i premi sono in soldi, quindi barare diventa allettante), e barare su Steemit copiando post(zero fatica, enorme quantità di contenuti disponibili, in pratica soldi facili).
Più di una volta mi è capitato di vedere giocatori allontanati da gruppi perchè scoperti ad usare programmini vari, a mio avviso fare una cosa del genere non vale la pena, per la figuraccia che si fa di fronte a tutte le persone che giocano secondo le regole, e per il risultato di venire screditati ed isolati, cosa che succederà anche su Steemit.
Come ho scritto in un altro articolo la comunità vigila su se stessa, questo vuol dire che le persone che leggono si accorgono se il contenuto è originale oppure no, esistono anche programmi adatti a controllare se un testo è stato copiato pari pari da un'altra fonte, proprio come nei giochi online si viene scoperti, è questione di tempo.

Se ci pensate un attimo, barare(così come nei giochi) toglie tutto il divertimento da Steemit, scrivere dovrebbe essere una cosa che vi piace, che fate non solo per passare il tempo o per il lato economico.

A lungo termine copiare vi porterà ad essere flaggati e perdere tutto il lavoro che VOI avete fatto, per cosa poi, per qualche dollaro? 100 dollari?
Steemit è in piena espansione, e proprio come nelle comunità di gamer, ogni persona che bara non fa altro che danneggiare se stesso e gli altri.

Spero che questo serva a dissuadere gli utenti dal copiare i post degli altri o testi trovati su internet, vogliamo la VOSTRA partecipazione!

Today I will write about users copying posts found on other websites, lately I've heard about someone who got caught, and who get caught will most likely be advised to stop it or downvoted until that person leaves Steemit.

This topic matters a lot to me, because I see in those people the same behavior of the ones cheating during a videogame's torunament. During my years playing videogames I can proudly say that I never used any kind of cheats/programs to get an adavantage towards my opponent, both in fun matches and during tournaments. I kept in touch with a friend that I met online many many years ago, and some times we speak about the past. It happens to mention an episode that happened when I was 18 years old. The clan's leader wanted to talk with me after a training session, he asked me "are you sure that you play clean?", I answered that I never used cheats and that I would never use them, I welcomed him to check my computer and to watch me playing live, because I had nothing to hide.
This little tale is to let you understand my point of view about cheating, tha same view of the clan's leader whom I wrote about.

I see a connection between cheating during a tournament(where the winnder gets some money, so cheating sounds interesting), and cheating on Steemit by copying posts(no effort, enormous content available, easy money).
More than once I witnessed players get banned from clans because they got caught, I think that cheating is not worth it, for the bad impression that you can get in front of the community, and because you will get downvoted to death.
As I wrote in another article, the community watch itself, this means that the people who read will notice if a content is not original, there are even programs to find people that copy, just like in a videogame it is a matter of time before you get caught.

If you think about this, cheating takes all the fun away from Steemit, writing should be an activity that you like, not something that you feel forced to do.

In the long-term copying will get your posts flagged and you will lose the work that YOU have done, and for what? for some dollars?
