Hello dear friends,
Today I end with the history of writing starting with the Industrial Revolution, in which England lives great innovations. William Casion and John Baskerville create these kinds of very similar writings, called Casion and Baskerville.

oggi finisco con la storia della scrittura iniziando dalla rivoluzione industriale, in cui l' Inghilterra vive grandi innovazioni. William Casion e John Baskerville creano questi tipi di scritture molto simili, chiamate infatti Casion e Baskerville.
In the meantime in Italy Giambattista Bodoni created a Typographical Manual, which was published after his death in 1813.
In Italia nel frattempo Giambattista Bodoni crea un Manuale tipografico, che verrà pubblicato dopo la sua morte nel 1813.
The graphic of the '800 is deeply marked by changes with the industrial revolution. We find the new Fantasy alphabets: the first "A" in Norman character and the second "A" in French Egyptian character, "A" smaller n. 5 is in Stencil character, and "A" n. 6 is the Egyptian character called Italian.
La grafica dell‘ 800 è profondamente segnata dai cambiamenti della rivoluzione industriale. Troviamo i nuovi alfabeti Fantasia: la prima "A" in carattere Normanno e la seconda "A" in carattere Egiziano Francese, "A" piú piccola n. 5 è in carattere Stencil, e la "A" n. 6 é il carattere Egiziano denominato Italiano.
After that, especially at school, the English Italic spread throughout Europe.
Dopodiché, sopratutto a scuola, si diffonde in tutta l' Europa il Corsivo Inglese.
The birth of Art Nouveau and Artdeco also brought with it the new, very elegant characters.
La nascita dell‘ Art Nouveau e dell‘ Artdeco porta con sé anche i nuovi caratteri molto eleganti.
After this period begins slowly the modern era, the writing becomes increasingly clear and minimalist, but there are also those who turn it into a real art with the birth of graffiti.
One of my favourite artists is Daim, who has been active for many years and is still active: he has the talent to deform his name in a particular and very imaginative way. Here are some of his works.
Finito questo periodo inizia lentamente l' epoca moderna, la scrittura diventa sempre più chiara e minimalista, ma c' é chi la trasforma in vera e propria arte con la nascita del graffito.
Uno dei mei artisti preferiti é Daim, attivo da tanti anni: egli ha semre avuto la dote di deformare il suo nome in maniera particolare e molto fantasiosa. Eccovi alcuni dei suoi lavori.

Bello studio sulla storia dei caratteri.
Io personalmente sono molto interessato anche ai font attualmente in uso e in evoluzione, se dovessi continuare ti seguo.
È un argomento complesso ma del quale sto iniziando a raccogliere informazioni e che trovo molto Interessante.

Certo che mi piace il post sulla scrittura ;) Non conoscevo artisti come Daim. Effettivamente è molto particolare. Como lo sono i particolari font che usiamo tutt'oggi, soprattutto per chi fa grafica. ;)
