SOME OF MY SKETCHES

Hello dear friends,
Today I want to talk about sketches, but not about the live studies, the sketches made with the fantasy!
It's just the moment when the idea comes, the whole scene is already clear in our mind, but we don't have the actors to play it, and we don't have internet! So we must initially trust the memory, what we have observed, what we have noticed, and what we think about it.
Then we try to translate it into expressions, movements, lights and shadows.
Often it happens that in the moment of the idea there is more euphoria, and our work appears more heated and fiery than in the canvases that we paint for months .... so I decided to show you some first sketch.
They are sketches that are only for me, and I would never expose them, but it is to understand the departure, the birth of the work.

ALCUNI DEI MIEI SCHIZZI

Ciao cari amici,
Oggi voglio parlarvi degli schizzi, ma non degli studi fatti dal vivo, gli schizzi fatti a mente.
È proprio il momento in cui arriva l‘ idea, tutta la scena è già chiara nella mente, ma non abbiamo gli attori che possano recitarla, e non abbiamo internet! Cosí ci dobbiamo inizialmente fidare del ricordo, di cosa abbiamo osservato, cosa abbiamo notato, e che cosa ne pensiamo.
Poi cerchiamo di tradurlo in espressioni, in movimenti, in luci e ombre.
Spesso accade che nel momento dell' idea c'é più euforia, e il nostro lavoro appare piú acceso e fuocoso che nelle tele che ci tiriamo avanti per dei mesi.... perciò ho deciso di mostrarvi qualche primo bozzetto.
Sono schizzi che servono soltanto a me, e non li esporrei mai, ma è per capire la partenza, la nascita dell' opera.
