Nel freddo silenzio del borgo antico, ha appena smesso di piovere e i pochi rami secchi di un albero anelano luce e sole per rigenerarsi.
I due archetti pensili sopra il balcone con la porta serrata, scrutano la scena, ci guardano e noi guardiamo loro.

Solo il freddo.
Lui è là!
Sicuramente un uomo, dal bianco camice rassicurante, il segno di una professionalità acquisita con l'esperienza.
Sicuro di se, all'apparenza rilassato, una mano sul fianco, l'altro braccio seminascosto, con una sorpresa nella mano mancina pronta a scattare al primo segnale.
Sta aspettando ...
chi?
Un avventore? Un paziente?
Sarà un medico, un farmacista o un macellaio? Ma no forse un barista!

È un freddo pomeriggio d'inverno ed ho scoperto che la malinconia può essere combattuta e vinta dalla medicina moderna, sonniferi, tranquillanti o ansiolitici, oppure con una buona birra, due, tre, molte pinte aiutano a dormire, senza prendere la rincorsa per entrare nel tunnel della notte.
