Parliamo di mare e di arte architettonica.
i miei temi preferiti.
Oggi presento tre lavori ad acquarello che rappresentano il rapporto stretto tra il mare come unica opera d'arte in movimento e le opere artistiche architettoniche dell'essere umano, statiche e fragili.
Il primo acquarello rappresenta le onde del mare che disegnano forme in movimento da cui emergono le rocce e soprattutto resti di civiltà antiche.
E' forse una metafora della cancellazione della cultura antica come processo naturale della storia?
Forse la lotta tra le forze della natura e la fragilità dell'uomo e di ciò che ha creato?
Una danza magica di elementi caduci, simbolo del movimento dell'universo.

Today I present three watercolor works that represent the close relationship between the sea as the only moving art work and the architectural, human and static artworks of the human being.
The first watercolor represents the waves of the sea that draw shapes in movement from which emerge the rocks and above all remains of ancient civilizations.
Is it perhaps a metaphor of the cancellation of ancient culture as a natural process of history?
Perhaps the struggle between the forces of nature and the fragility of man and what he created?
A magical dance of caduce elements, symbol of the movement of the universe.

Da bambino, durante le immersioni immaginavo e speravo spesso di trovare dei tesori sommersi, tra gli scogli o nei banchi di posidonie.
Quando giocavo sulla sabbia, costruendo castelli, scavando con la paletta, vedevo apparire un antico forziere con gioielli o dobloni d'oro.
Sogni che spesso si traducono in realtà, come ad esempio questo stupendo pezzo da collezione di capitello romano, rinvenuto da un pescatore, lo scorso anno nella sabbia di una spiaggia di Sperlonga.
Adorabile è dir poco!
Stupendo pezzo in ottimo stato di conservazione, realizzato da maestranze romane, lavorato nel marmo di Carrara, quindi, per la pregevole fattura gli scultori romani erano senza dubbio guidati dal maestro greco.
Ho pensato di rappresentare i due elementi primari che si compenetrano, il mare e la storia a sostegno di esso.
Quest'opera di grande qualità, si trova all'interno dell'Auditorium del comune di Sperlonga e testimonia come è possibile ancora sognare e trovare tesori, a portata di mano.

When I was a child, during the dives I imagined and I often hoped to find underwater treasures, among the rocks or in the posidonia beds.
When I played on the sand, building castles, digging with the shovel, I saw an ancient treasure chest appear with jewels or gold doubloons.
Dreams that often translate into reality, such as this beautiful collection piece of Roman capital, found by a fisherman last year in the sand of a beach in Sperlonga.
Adorable is nothing short!
Stupendous piece in excellent condition, made by Roman craftsmen, worked in Carrara marble, then, for the fine workmanship Roman sculptors were undoubtedly guided by the Greek master ..
This work of great quality, is located within the Auditorium of the town of Sperlonga and testifies how you can still dream and find treasures, at your fingertips.
I thought of representing the two primary elements that interpenetrate, the sea and the history in support of it.

Bellissime quelle onde!!!!
Vivo troppo lontano dal mare per non apprezzare un quadro del genere, capace di ribaltarsi immediatamente in una realtà come quella dell'Arcipelago Toscano. Per l'esattezza mi sento in Piazza Mascagni a Livorno, con un mare leggermente mosso fra gli scogli.
L'arte è anche questo.
