Hi steemians, here at my house sometimes it almost seems like the Malpensa 2000 airport! Unidentified objects also pass, and sometimes they land strange forms of life, like these in today's photos. As a good lover of nature, I have become informated a bit about them, and I have discovered that it is Cerambycidae called Cerambycidae or Cerambici.
They belong to the family of insects of the order of the beetles, which includes more than 25,000 species, with their characteristics large antennas, folding wings, the noise very characteristic, when in flight, various types of colors and designs on the back.
Some specimens have very characteristic and rare colors, which make them coveted prey for some collectors. Like many insects, even the cerambici pass through 2 phases, before assuming the adult form. The first is that of a larva, with a white body, springs and an orange head, armed with tongs, to eat on wood or vegetables.
The second phase is that of a pupa, also of white color, but with the body already resembling the adult form, wrapped in a bounce of plant material, or in a cell dug in the bark of trees, to wait for the armor to harden, this phase lasts about a month, and then takes the form of an adult.
As you can see, nature is very rich in alien life forms! In fact, not all species have been recorded and cataloged by scholars and here in South America, it is easy to find a new species. Oggetti volanti più o meno identificati
Ciao steemians, qui a casa mia a volte sembra quasi l'aereporto di malpensa 2000! Passano anche oggetti non identificati, ed a volte atterrano strane forme di vita, tipo queste nelle foto di oggi. Da buon amante della natura, ho raccolto qualche informazione in piú su di esse, ed ho scoperto che si tratta di Cerambycidae detti Cerambicidi o Cerambici.
Appartengono alla famiglia degli insetti dell'ordine dei coleotteri, che comprende oltre 25.000 specie, con le loro caratteristiche grandi antenne, ali pieghevoli, dal rumore ben caratteristico quando in volo, corpi affusolati, varie tipologie di colori e disegni sul dorso.
Alcuni esemplari presentano colorazioni molto caratteristiche e rare, che li rendono prede ambite per alcuni collezionisti. Come molti insetti, anche i cerambici passano per 2 fasi, prima di assumere la forma adulta. La prima é quella di larva, con corpo bianco, molle e testa arancione, armate di denti a tenaglia, per cibarsi di legni o vegetali.
La seconda fase é quella di pupa, anche in essa di color bianco, ma con il corpo giá somigliante alla forma adulta, avvolto in un bozzo di materiale vegetale, o in una celletta scavata nelle cortecce degli alberi, per attendere l'indurirsi della corazza, questa fase ha la durata di circa un mese, per poi assumere la forma di adulto.
Come vedete la natura é ricchissima di forme di vita aliene! Infatti non tutte le specie sono state censite e catalogate dagli studiosi e qui in sud America, é ben facile trovarsi di fronte ad una nuova specie.
