I read this with pleasure (whole post) and interest (especially the omega parts). The narrative is flowing and inviting. And I felt present in the scenes described!

I suspect the bilingual edition might give the illusion of excessive length, which might dissuade some readers from attempting to read it, and it's too bad if that's the case.
