Israel Plans to Create National Cryptocurrency

The Israeli Ministry of Finance will introduce a new cryptocurrency called “digital shekel” in order to fight against black market operations.
It is expected that this cryptocurrency will become a kind of an alternative mean of payment as that digital shekel will be equivalent to country’s national currency.
Cryptocurrency transactions will be conducted directly without any involvement of banks.
Interesting concept we will see how that works out ! :)
this is what is needed. countries need to switch to cryptos because cryptos are currently not being used for their intended purpose. they have simply become speculative assets with too much volatility to encourage a payments process. Some could say this is due to lack of liquidity which is absolutely true, but I feel the crypto marketcap would increase much more with more mainstreet use. businesses fear using crypto because of volatility.
