Israel Archaeology - Cross Mosaic with Alpha and Omega ?
Davida Eisenberg-Degen, an archaeologist with the Israeli Antiquities Authority, shows Greek letters and a decorated ‘Christogram’ where birds on the large mosaic appear to be lifting the cross heavenwards from the floor of a Byzantine era church uncovered in the past two months in Moshav Aluma, Israel, and presented by the Israeli Antiquities Authority. The church is 1,500 years old with a ‘magnificent’ mosaic and five inscriptions, and is the first church found in the area which served as a large Byzantine settlement in the region located near the coast.

Here is the Answer:
Omega (Cyrillic)
Omega (Ѡ ѡ or Ѡ ѡ; italics: Ѡ ѡ or Ѡ ѡ) is a letter used in the early Cyrillic alphabet. Its name and form are derived from the Greek letter Omega (Ω ω).
