Forbidden Things in Islam 🕌

1. Pork 🐖

"He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah." — Qur'an 2:173

2. Alcohol 🍷

Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden in Islam. Intoxicants are seen as harmful to both the body and the mind, impairing one's ability to think clearly and make rational decisions.

"O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful." — Qur'an 5:90

3. Gambling 🎰

Gambling is haram in Islam because it leads to greed, social harm, and financial instability. It encourages people to take uncalculated risks and pursue wealth through chance rather than hard work.

"Satan wants only to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer." — Qur'an 5:91

4. Usury (Interest) 💰

Charging or paying interest (known as riba) is forbidden because it leads to exploitation and unjust economic inequality. Islamic finance is based on profit-sharing and ethical investment.

7. Adultery and Fornication 💔

9. Eating Carrion 🐄

Eating the flesh of dead animals (carrion) is haram because the animal was not slaughtered in the name of Allah. The Islamic method of slaughtering animals (halal) is prescribed to ensure that the animal is treated humanely and that the meat is clean.
