Jesus is a figure who is loved and revered by billions of people the world over, yet there is much confusion surrounding the status of this colossal personality. Muslims and Christians both hold Jesus in high regard but view him in very different ways.
This video describe how Jesus, peace be upon him, viewed in Islam and in the Muslims' holy book, the Quran.
Wrong. Muslims deny that Jesus is the son of God. They deny that he died on a cross. They denied that he rose from the dead. To accept Jesus only as a prophet is to deny the real Jesus.
""To accept Jesus only as a prophet is to deny the real Jesus""". This is a wrong derivation because Jesus is a person. Denying events happened to someone does not mean that denying the existence of that person.
Anyway, first of all, God is not a man so that HE has to have a son. God is the creator (Allah), the One! Allah, the eternally Besought of all! He begetteth not nor was begotten. And there is none comparable unto Him. God is the creator of all mankind including prophet Jesus peace be upon him. Jesus is a man (creature). God is not a man evidenced by Bible Numbers 23:19.
Jesus was the Messiah. The prophet who was sent to a specific nation which is "children of Israel" (Israelite or Hebrew people) who refused him as their messiah.
As for Islam, Muslims did not create a religion from their heads. Quran is a word of God which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad 1400 years ago. Islam sent to all mankind. It is not an exclusive message sent to Arabs only but for all people on this earth. Islam is the last and final revelation from God ( last testament) and because of that Allah himself promised to save this book from any corruption till the day of judgment. Unlike in Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism all previous holy scriptures, the book of Quran remain preserved as it is without change since 14th centuries.
Allah told us in this final revelation (Quran) that the ancient rulers had changed some verses of the original scripture from the gospel (New testament) as well as from the Torah (Old Testament). This is the same happened in Hinduism, Buddhism and all previous messages. They changed the word of God without fearing him. That's why you have many versions of your holy book and many contradictions as well. For example, Christians worship Jesus as God where in their holy bible (KJV) Numbers 23:19 states """"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent""""" Big contradiction. This is just one ex.
