Iskcon should be one name you hear from every Bangalore visitor. That’s very much famous that nobody misses to visit the temple, no matter what their caste is! Located at northern part of Bangalrore, Iskcon temple showcases beautiful deities of Radha and Krishna as the title goes ‘Sri Radha Krishna Temple’. Ever since its inception in the year 1997, the temple has been receiving large number of visitors on a daily basis. Iskcon by its history doesn’t hold any richness of being a pioneer, as the construction of Iskcon temples started in various other states and cities like Hubli, Madras, etc.

Devotees visiting the temple are conjured up with free distribution of Sri Krishna Prasadam during the hours of Dharshan. The godly glory of the temple is reflected with the gold plated flag post that stands for a height of 17 m and kalash shikara of 8.5 m height. The temple strives to promote Vedic culture among the devotees and other spiritual learning bringing peace in lives!

The composed, calm temple has six breathtaking shrines the main of which is the Radha-Krishna shrine. Krishna Balrama, Srinivasa Govinda, Prahlada Narasimha, Nitai Gauranga and Srila Prabhupada are the rest five.

Most of the visitors find it too easy to penetrate through the huge queues using the special entry paying a little extra than to stand in lengthy lines. If your trip for Bangalore is planned well, you should have included visiting the Orion Mall that is in close proximity to the temple. This will be indeed a relaxing visit in Bangalore.
